Who has them now? I'm having my first of 5 in about 1.4 hours. :nervous:

I do, I've been having my grade 9 EQAO math assesment for 3 days already, thank god tomorrows the last day, plus next Thursday is my Science exam, so I'm pretty nervous myslef, well good luck pal, you'll do well.

I had all my first year finals about 3 weeks ago. Sitting back and relaxing now. 4 months until i need to go back to uni ;) I know i'm a bastard

I have my first one tomorrw (chemistry). I have the next six for three days next week, two per day. I'm not too worried about them; probably less so than I should be.

My final exams are the 17th and 18th next week. :grumpy:

I just had my French Exam today, studying for my Math Exam tommorow, then Science, Socials, and English next week. :(

You'll do fine. I only had one final this year and it was for Physics. I passed it even though the course was rather difficult to me since Math isn't exactly my strongest subject matter.

I feel for you sun, I also have 5 exams.... now my parents are wondering why I did not want to take music this year (jazz band is one exam, and the regular music course is another exam). My first exam, English, is next Wednesday, and I just want to finish this damn school year.

ND4SPD, you do know that EQAO counts for nothing, so you don't need to stress over it. Well, stressing out over grade 9 is a poor plan in general. Just wait until grade 11 comes, it's a complete ***** compared to grades 9 and 10.

ND4SPD, you do know the EQAO counts for nothing towards your mark, right? It's nothing to get stressed about.

I've done 7, got 3 to go. Finish next Tuesday. Not that bad yet. English and Maths Higher GCSEs have been hardest.

I have one on thursday but it's only because I'm taking part time courses in the spring and summer semesters :irked:.

13 exams, one for every subject :yuck:

And thanks to the semester system we have to do these exams all in December and once again in June... I average about 6-7 hours of hard-core studying per exam, which isn't that much.

Anyways, these will (hopefully) be my last exams in high school.

over the whole year we only have 8 subjects...4 in each semester...but man that must suck royally for you

Well actually the only thing I'm worring about is my science exam, well not anymore I just found out that it won't really affect me, my teacher says my grades are high enough in science that if I even get a 0% on the exam it won't fail me, so I now know I'll get my science credit. Oh, EvO I wasn't actually worried about the EQAO math thingy, it wasn't hard at all anyways, it was just a bit** to do, 4 days straight of just sitting there, it was just so boring, but then again, after we do it we get to watch family guy in class.

How do you possibly fit 13 classes into a year, I only had 8 this year......your crazy man, GOOD LUCK on the 13 exams I feel for ya!!

Had my english provincial on Thursday.. Can't say it was fun. Damn Victoria didn't send us enough exams!

Up next: Physics and Chemistry.

Lets see, every week I have :

German
French
English
Dutch
Economy
Maths
Biology
Chemistry
Geography
Physics
Phylosophy
History
Esthetics
P.E.

Those are 14 subjects, but P.E. doesn't have an exam.

During high school, in the Belgian school system, you need to decide what direction you want to follow for the rest of your career. But here you still get all of the subjects (everyone here gets 4, or even 5 languages by the end of high school), only the amount of hours / week per subject changes depending on you choice. I'm in something that would translate to "economy modern-languages" so I have quite a lot of French and German plus my economy class is very important.

From grade 7 till grade 10 we have exames every trimester (which limits the amount of stuff you need to know for each exam). And in the last 2 years of high school we get exams every semester, this is for every class and for everything that you learned since the last exam.

Its actually very common for someone to repeat a year over here. On average 1/3 boys will be held back and 1/4 girls (this number is just for high school and middle school).

Not the easiest school system as you can see.

i'm having mine in about 84 hours from now and I still got to study for them. Then i got another one the very next day

We're getting results back last week, and this week.
Not wanting to brag, but A* in German and History so far.

I finished my exams on May 15th. School let out on the 27th.

So have we.
