    What a race!

I was surprised that I climbed from 8th to 3rd in a single lap. By lap 4 I was 1st, and I tried to escape from erazer. I was so anxious in the final 10 minutes, I thought I'd lose the lead but I managed to keep it.

Congratulations @TRL_Andromeda for winning the championship mate.

I really thought you would run out of fuel. you gained 3 seconds on me in the pitstop, so I figured you took on less fuel than me, and I only had 3-4 liters left.
But I guess you use less fuel than I do aswell, so that may explain it.
I actually used up 176 liters, wich is almost as much as I used at daytona, and more than I used at monza:confused:

Overall though, this race was one of the dullest I've ever done. I was alone for the entire race, John blasted past at the light of speed and was gone, and I had a battle with a slow LOGICLINE on worn tyres for 1 lap, that was it. never saw a single car either ahead nor behind me.
    I was hoping for rain.

Thanks man, however you've come back very strong from motegi and onwards!:) very unlucky yesterday though, I recon you had a 100% wet setup? because I ran with Q settings and could easily keep up, I had much better top speed.
Not nearly enough as John had though, he blasted past up the kemmel straight at a million mph and I had no chance to defend:lol:
Then a DC to finnish it of.:yuck:

Actually, I fully refilled. I did not want to repeat another Indianapolis is-fuel-going-to-run-out-or-not drama.

I initially opted for a 2-stop strategy, but after 35 minutes I saw no one in for a tyre change. I then tried to survive as I am not used to pitting only once in such technical circuits.

Never mess up with me in the straights. :p

I always use relatively low downforce settings (400-350) as it gives both the amount of oversteer I want and a nice straight line speed.

First and fore most a huge congratulations to @TRL_Andromeda on his championship win & as always a very impressive drive all season mate im always amazed at you front runners consistently raw talent & speed wd...

Also a huge congratulations to the runner's up @DrAug & @nissman very close in points...

I myself have had probably the worst drive this season for the most part & only towards the last few races had I started to gain some speed clinching myself a P1 start in Fuji which I'm still shocked from by the way... Nethertheless Im hoping to bring my a game for the next season & hopefully manage to be back up in the rankings for runner up by the end of it...

Wd to everyone who took part this season and a huge thank you too @Stephen Vann & @nissman for organising such an amazing fun packed thrill seeking virtual racing experience... I wish all those who participate in next season all the best.

I too went with a completely very wet setup.
As i am so rubbish in the rain, i felt i could loose so much time during the wet period of the race
that is was worth the sacrifice in the dry period.

However - as its so Random, although it looked like it may rain early on, it then brightened up, and
then again with 30 minutes left it was looking like rain again, i was preying for those raindrops to fall every single lap.
In fact i had dropped so far behind with my slow pace, that i was sure the good lord above would look after me.
    But none of it.

So all the tests i run were again called into question.
However i do know that as we restarted the race - that does have an effect on the rain cycle in game.
All the tests i had done were with new rooms.

So there we are, although to be honest, i am glad its so random, i really dont want it to ever be predictable,
to me half the fun of weather races is having unknown weather.

I was reasonably pleased with a solid 6th place with a setup that was neither wet nor dry, although as the race panned out, I found myself continuously looking at the surface water meter in the hope rain would come in order to shake things up a bit. I think racers along with people that love camping must be the only ones that don't mind rain!

Very well done to Erazer for winning the championship and also to Aug and Niss for keeping the pressure on to make it an extremely competitive series.

And thanks again to Logic and Niss for administering and organising the series too.
