Does anyone know how i could beat the final license test for the S license ive tried and tried it but i can never seem to beat it. I always get .3 seconds away but never get it.

Try, try, try, try - watch the demo, then again, try, try, try, try - Repeat until passed...
 
Or try using manual, and I'm sure you will get it. That is unless you are using MT already, then the vid will help a lot.
 
Yep no problem, it really helps to eliminate wheelspin that can't be avoided with auto.
 
I feel I'm qualified to answer, I just did it last weekend.
I used automatic transmission . With both traction and stability control off I could reduce the time by at least 2 seconds.
When accelerating while exiting a curve just tap quickly on the accelerator button.
Never brake in the middle of a curve . Braking should orient the front of the car toward the inside of the curve. Keep your eyes on the red light ( brake ) while watching the demo.

Never go full throttle out of a curve. Follow ^^^^ those points, easy on the throttle. Don't want to spin out. Just be super-smooth, don't try to go too fast. you're probably going faster than you think anyways. Smooth, smooth, smooth...
 
or, you can do manual, go around the corners at full throttle and keep it in 3rd gear, it might not spin, i dunno, i havent tried it but it sounds like and alright theory

I tried golding it using this method a minute ago but still managed to spin it in some areas of the track while staying in 3rd gear.

Maybe it's just my dodgy driving :grumpy:

Erm my best attempt in AT was 0.4 seconds away from gold and the best I could manage in MT was around 2 seconds off :(

Guess I'll try it again later on.
 
strange, people keep saying how hard it is, yet i got it first go (not gold though, got silver)..... ahwell... i might try for gold sometime..
i used manual with no ASM or TCS, just have to keep a smooth driving style, dont mash the throttle coming out a corner, and as stated before dont go below 3rd gear (really does help! has helped me alot in getting alot faster times on various tracks)
 
I use the DFP. Believe it or not, I'm much moreconsistent when driving it. I get around .5 sec slower, but the consistency pays off in the end. That and I bust a great one every now and then. Much easier to control the throttle.
 
It drove me nuts trying to pass this at first, but when I came back to it in my gold quest, I switched to manual and got the gold in an hour or so, and that is on the PAL version which is about 1:27.800 or somewhere near that. Anyway, I think you can pass this test easily by running the whole test in 3rd gear.
 
Win a GT-ONE, or Mazda 787B, or some other high powered MR car. Drive a full championship with driver aids off. Go back to license. Easy, gold. I used AT, but MT is better.

I only have the GTone street version, will it do ?
And what set of tires should I use, T2 ?
 
I didn't know there was a road version, you probably want a race car. Ideally get a GT-ONE race car untuned, then use medium tyres for the professional GT world championship, or something like that.

It's just more fun than practicing the same test over and over again.
 
I tried getting gold last night, using manual for hte first time in that license test and its soo much easier now that ive actaully tried it, i can only manage silver so far, im .2 off gold
 
Wee. Just tried it using MT again and beat it first time by .2 of a second to get gold 👍

On a downside, I sold my Nissan Z Concept without giving it a proper chance and now realised I can't get it back :(

Gonna have to borrow a mate's memory card or something and gold the licence again so I can trade it back across.

Try to keep the wheelspin under control by controlling the throttle.That should do it,I made by 0.8 sec.
