I've seriously no idea how you guys could have been playing this game all this time without online racing.

Whatever floats your boat, hats off to you.

I am surprised at how much money I am now getting, its insanity. I got a GT-R, spending time getting it just right.

In my case, I was lacking a good internet service.

I don't like racing online with other people(unless I get invited to a private lobby), but the Seasonals, the Cr/XP multiplier, the DLC and the updates that improve the game are more than enough to keep me online from now on.

indeed it is, I can't wait for his thoughts on "The new GT5" 👍

I like the new features, it does feel like a huge expansion, not quite a whole new game but still very different. The amount of money seasonals give you is insane, I think it wouldn't hurt to reduce them because I doubt I will really be doing the normal "A spec" events again any time soon. I do find entering them to be a pain, for a 400pp seasonal I couldn't enter my 386pp civic which was annoying, I needed to use a car with about 50 less pp then the thing says. The pp system is in my opinion, better than the old class system, though some items like clutches should affect it. The changes to the physics are enough to throw me off quite a bit (and the fact that I am replaying gt1 didn't help either) but each car does feel quite a bit different. Online racing is ok, I wish you could filter more things out like PP limits when looking for a room, and the fact that you can't exit while the track is loading in the room, at one point the host of one cut out and the room stopped loading requiring me to quit the game altogether. I have yet to be kicked from a room yet or play online a massive amount so I think that I will and that part. The fact that you can change individual gear ratios now makes me extremely happy, I like having my first two or three gears to be short and the rest to be a bit on the wide side because it makes it easy to do good on both slower and faster sections. The free toyota you get is fun to drive, slightly less stable than expected but it is above average, I will keep it as my 450pp car. The new intro is flat out amazing, better music than MY Chemical Romance (not that they are bad, it just doesn't really go with GT in my opinion).

It's strange that they don't let you enter with your Civic. Have you checked the tire regulation? I raced with an old Civic Si and I had no problems entering.

I didn't see any tire limits, only a limit for pp, I changed the oil and it jumped to 420 so I'm guessing the counter just glitched.

I really like the option to turn off parts of the HUD, I will race with everything that can be turned off with the exception of the hud itself as it helps to see what position and lap you are on. The new photomode location is baws.

Now you just need to get all the things you have missed so far.

The Online Car Dealer seems to change every 2 weeks on a Thursday. (Due this Thursday.)

Seasonals are updated every week. It currently cycles - A Spec, Time Trial & Drift Trial, B Spec, Time Trial & Drift Trial.

I have checked out the online dealer, found a ram and a tt racecar (that handles a little erratically). I have been grinding the seasonals for cash :p

Now you need to set all of your Bobs except for 1 to share, then accept my FR later (From - Milldrum ) and I will race them over the next few days on the widget for a few hours. You can also borrow any of my cars set to share.

I thought the widget broke???

The B Spec drivers can also act as a slush fund - storing up cash for when you need to get a certain expensive car.

Not sure but there maybe races whih the BSpec drivers can win to get cars you can't get normally...

Grinding seasonals.
One way I have fun is to do a 5 day cycle at the same seasonal.
Pick a car you know will do well... but each race drop down a level on your tyres. I race no driver aids so this gradual reduction in grip almost makes it feel like an Old Coin-operated Arcade game as the level just gets harder and harder.

Try to make some angle to races, you are meant to be having fun, not turning yourself into a Human BSpec driver after all.

I usually find the most ridiculous car I can think of for challenging the seasonal, 300hp miata forever.
:p

I have no clue about B-spec (except in GT4), could someone teach me in it?

now to sign up for PSN

Edit: My bad, triple post, could a mod remove this post?

So it took you 1 hour to download all the patches made so far. Fairly impressive, considering one of my PSN friends thinks it can take up to 3 hours.

You make a Bob. You put him in a ridiculously over powered car and he wins. :)

Just keep him calm. Take the cash and cars. Or you can get frustrated and try to work it out and do it properly. Both are boring to me and get the same end result.

I once heard of a guy that said his friend said.......

Do you know or do you think you know?

I already have a Bob. And he can build things 👍 .

This is exactly the way i hate Bspec.
And in the second case the neverending clicking on X button to keep your bob in some pace or to take an overtaking maneouver. I cant see a point or joy in it :-)
Otherwise i like the way BATracer has this covered.
