First GTA Car Rolling Out

Why is everyone complaining? These are all cars we already have. They are not new in any way other than the stickers. If you want to drive a Tuned 370 buy it, paint it blue, add a wing and some parts, and viola GT Academy car.

Even if we got all the cars today, they are certainly not game changers. I fail to see why so many are upset.

It's true. Most of these cars are in the game, minus a sticker and a wing.

This makes this entire schedule even more silly in my opinion; waiting for DLC that's hardly new, exciting or even worth the wait (except the GTR Black Edition). This game is too easy to criticize. At least make us work to find something to criticize!

No, what's hilarious is that these whiners whine for these things like 4 year olds, while EA would have made 2 complete games with no new content making you pay 65 bucks, while PD give you things for free, or for 5 bucks.

No, the issue is PD stated they would release the GTA cars after July 4. Most folks surmised they would all be released at once. I could care less about any of them but was looking forward to getting a bunch of cars at one time. Just seems misleading-that's what's disappointing.

What's funny? We are throwing our money at them, and always willing to throw more, the customer is always right...so if he wants a burger with a nice slice of stale dog crap, and he'll pay for it, not many would contest his choice.

This could be kind of a trickle-placebo-effect method of giving us the illusion of new content, a stall method while new content actually arrives...or maybe the GTAc "livery cars" need to be bug tested and its still in progress...

We were NOT mislead, we just assumed that common sense was being employed by them in their release date, rather we get another VAGUE message from PD which if you really break it down, could be spun several ways...we ARE getting the cars on or after July 4th, they just failed to mention any dispensary schedule but at the same time they never said we'd get them all at once...we just assumed.
 
Allow me to quote something "pick the fruit of your labor" only in this case PD came and stole your fruit, so now you have to wait for it to grow back AGAIN

Its pathetic really, WHY should you guys who played GTA have to wait for junk(and I do mean JUNK) that is already in the game, and available?

I could understand the wait if the content was worth it, I defended the price for motegi, and if PD said "Yo! now ya'll gonna have to wait 'til august because *insert BS excuse* for yer Nissan Turismo Academy carz, but we ARE going to release this amazin' new car pak at the end of august too!" PD's bad actions would be BALANCED out with their good ones.

The only way to justify a bad act is to perform a good one, something PD hasn't done since car pack 3.
 
I feel like dating a girl on a daily basis and only allowed sex for no particular reason only the july 4, 11, 18, 25, same in august for havin previously gold all her lifts at her job . Sex is free too but I would dump her anyways ... or cheat ... because she's cute when i take photo of/with her :D

I really can't understand Polyphony Deception moves, other than saying leave us alone there won't be any more DLC during those 2 months, yah dig?

If only they would communicate with the fans! And now I think it's worse than ever. The last DLC was announced the day before release,granted we pretty much knew it was coming but still.

And now with this GTA two month car hand out. You get one car and your like what the... Then come out and announce that it's gonna be two months! I just don't understand there marketing techniques. I know the academy cars are crap but I earned them,just communicate and let us know what the plan is before it blows up!

That's how it feels to be married. Occasional sex once a week for no reason (but its good) and you don't dump her because you have a relationship with her (love?). Most of times good, sometimes bad but its a damn relationship and you had a lot of good moments and memories with her.

And she does weird things from time to time without telling you about it.

It has nothing to do with being desperate,it has to do with PD and there stupid decisions and actions. I could really care less about the cars,it's just stupid.

The issue for me is that there is simply no logical reason to release the content in such an idiotic manner.

It would be like a parent giving their child a pile of presents at Christmas then telling them they could only open one present a week for the next two months.....Isn't it nice that the parent bought them all those presents? Isn't it nice that they are free? Yeah, but what's with the stupid delivery system?

and yet there would be a bunch of posters on here saying "Man those parents just get blamed for everything no matter what they do!"

Yeah, its true but i'm sure you understand that video game gives us more freedom, I hate to see something that I really loved doing irrational thing, never communicate, always late, never fully deliver. I'm growing tired about it. I got really few reason left to stick with Sony_a :)

I'm just interested in the racing suit, which is most probably a small size file, so PD could've just sent it with the Nissan Leaf.
Instead, everyone who wants it, have to wait untill the end of the summer vacations just for it. :grumpy:

The funny thing is we already have all the cars and content on the HDD, because we downloaded the latest patch.

The latest DLC was in the patch too, but i understand why they did this. Because if you don't purchase the DLC you still need the data to see them in onlinemode for example. They have more reasons.
And i understand why the charge money for DLC.
But I can't understand why they won't gift us the cars in 1 day or week.

PD just gift them in GT to unlock them and for some reason they need 2 months.

Im just trying to make a point about how they do things and how they fail to communicate. I love GT5 but yeah, I really don't care about the cars. I just wish they respected the fans enough to let them know what their plans are. Maybe they don't even know. I want more DLC but now I'm thinking they should just concentrate on GT6. And if they let us know,that would be acceptable. But that's another discussion.

I agree that it was a dumb decision for PD to make, but why complain when it affects nothing? ALL of the cars (Minus the tuned GT-R, and the 370Z is only a paint and sticker update AFAIK) are already in the game without the stickers in a larger variety of colours, and most can be traded. Why does it matter if we don't get these as soon as possible?

Have your selfs back when you were 12-17 years old.... and then you'll see why some people are so eager to get their gifts cars.

Now...It doesnt matter how you look at it, if you want the cars or not...
the fact is, that at PDI have done their best to look as stupid and as inconvenient as possible.

Well I'm 16 and have the maturity and patience of my Dad (at 46 in October), So your statement doesn't really apply to me :p . But I see what you mean, I guess it's because I've been brought up knowing that if I want something, I have to earn it and that the less you ask for, the more you get. Where have the days gone when people appreciated what they already had? I do also agree that it was a stupid decision, but surely we've all come to expect this from PD, right?
