First GTA Car Rolling Out

That could be good news for those that have not entered, I know for sure your times will not be uploaded as we have passed the closure date but good if you can still gold. Does this mean those that havent golded will still get there cars if they gold them now ??

You're absolutely correct Mark, the leader board rankings do not change. Not even amongst your friends. Too bad PD didn't incorporate something like EA's Auto Log. Using that for GTA and or license tests would make the game more interesting. Actually, rankings are live for Seasonal Event TT's.

You can no longer play the Academy. It closed a few days ago while I was on the track. The server is down plus you get a message that it no longer can be played. Just tried it for verifacation.

Check again you can still do the tests but no times will be logged, Ive just tried and can confirm this as of 5 mins ago.

You will get a notice telling you its closed but hit the X button and you can do the tests, there is another thread concerning this and I guy seems to think you can still gold them and win cars, this im not to sure about.

And please read all other posts reffering to this issue as all has been covered in this thread.

Just tried it. This is what I get. "A connection to the server could not be established" It then goes through the other into screens until it comes to a screen that says, " GT Academy 2012 is no longer available. Please press the PS button and exit." I tried other buttons and got nothing. Like I said, it has been this way for the last couple of days when I was on the track getting the last golds on my second account. There was even a hour count down timer just like there was when it ended to register your times.

Edit : correct it has finnaly closed, I only loaded and assumed it was still open my apologies.
Unfortunately all those people that didnt finnish it will not now have the chance.

Like I said, it closed a few days ago as there was even a count down timer. I believe it was Monday at 7pm est. in the US. After that, they took the server down. I know what I'm talking about otherwise I wouldn't have posted.

No KB18FAN is correct we cannot enter it now, I loaded and assumed it was still working the same as last time i went in shouls have waited to fully load but didnt.

To those unfortunate not to have golded or entered the 8th round you can still have the academy 370Z.
I understand its the same academy car as the 2008 except its colour

The expiration date is March 31, 2013. It's a shame people can't use it anymore. What a jip . I really thought it'd be usable until next year March.

It was a 370Z and a 370Z "tuned" (noticeable aero kit) same with the GTR, last years academy cars you cannot install aerodynamic's on so this will be nice!

It's now on granturismo.com we are getting 1 per week. Why they are dragging it out so much I don't know all the content is ready so just give it to us!
