Five of Our Favorite Super Bowl Automotive Ads

Mine was the Nissan ad that debuted the Nissan Le Mans car with Cats in the Cradle playing.
On my phone so no link from me.

The commercials this year were lame. The vikings in the Ram was pretty good, but using MLK to sell trucks? Ya that was in bad taste. Also, the Jeep one where it's off-roading was stupid too. If you look at the fine print it says "man made lake and waterfall". So basically they set it up perfectly so the Wrangler could make it through all that.

Oh and the "if you don't buy a Hyundai kids will die of cancer" was awful too.

Past that, everything else was a Tied ad.

I'm upset the Ford GT commercial from Super Bowl 38 wasn't featured.

There were a ton left out, but we do encourage people to post up their favorites here.

This Pontiac ad appeared during the 1970 Superbowl, introducing the first dual-mode exhaust on a production car named 'The Humbler'. Ironically, the ad meant to market it also wound up killing it, with GM's brass pulling the plug due to concerns over the ad encouraging bad behavior to customers.
