lol... I think he wants to fly more than he wants to read..Personally I recommend PDMG, particularly their 777.
They all come with huge AOMs and FCOMs, but those two are super easy to get used to...

Yeah, for now I'm just trying to learn the basics, get an idea of what the various controls do, learn how to read the instruments, follow waypoints, etc. There's more than enough stock content for me to achieve that so I'm probably a ways off from any kind of payware or even free mods. Most of what has been said in the last few posts is completely greek to me, so I won't be doing any advanced flying until I can make sense of the nuts and bolts. I know there's a large divide between what you guys take as common knowledge and what I actually know so far, so right now I'm just trying to get the simple stuff figured out (like what AOM and FCOM mean) before moving to the more complicated stuff, and at the same time not trying to pester you guys with every little question I encounter. And I'm totally fine with that, not trying to be the ace pilot right from the get-go as I'd rather get a really firm grasp on the basics first.
No just ask. I'm learning from it too![]()

Please, ask with all desire. I visit my payware forums hourly to give non-moderator help to people for troubleshooting... The more I get asked stuff, the more I know... And that makes me feel good helping others. But I also don't want to appear that I just expect people here to answer all my questions for me either, or that I'm bombarding them with every little thing.
Guess I'll start with the whole word first now and then in parentheses, put the acronym. It's not a problem.but I often have to consult google just to understand some of the terms used so it may take me a day or two before I actually understand the advice.![]()
I should be able to help you with any issues this weekend (normally I'm gone on the weekends) as I'm going to my state's airshow.but this weekend I'm planning to uninstall it all and start re-doing things based on the advice given here.
That must be torture.AA doesn't work in FS9 at all on my computer...
Need a full screen pic so I can endure the beauty of jaggies!

Full resolution is what I meant. (GTP automatically resizes uploaded photos to 800px.)I don't even know how to take full screen pics....
Hmm... It doesn't always do that... Or is that just for screenies?Full resolution is what I meant. (GTP automatically resizes uploaded photos to 800px.)
If you used the 'Upload a File' button or copy/pasted an image from your computer, then it will resize it since it was uploaded to GTP's server. To avoid this, you can use an online image hosting service and then paste it in. If you do it correctly it should say 'click to view full size' or something like that when you hover over the image.Hmm... It doesn't always do that... Or is that just for screenies?
you should see their new livery... looks amazing@Carlos, the way KLM has their light blue livery on the 747 matching the sky is very nice. Good shot.
