This guy totally showed his amazing talent in the early part of the Lexus IS-F cup. He's definitely a number-one contender. Amazingly quick.
 
Division 1 has Wardez, Reevos, Watson, Owens and Wiifreak....

If that wasn't tough enough, you have the two super-aliens in Aderrrm and Moieman.

And Division 2 isn't much better, as you have Egghead, outlaw, Brosif, bdub, NEPALII, RT, and Nige.

This is like, the GTP all-star series. :nervous:
 
And you can add one more star to the list (depending on what division he picks of course), Minion07. You remember him right Mule? He came up right when you first started racing with us in ISFC. I'm gonna post the video of that epic battle between him and RT at Fuji.
 
Yeah, I remember him. Why wouldn't I? I just wasn't sure what division he's going for.

I could set something up for this weekend. Single race, in-game prizes for winner. My car is sitting in my garage collecting dust, same specs as when we ran them save for different colors.

Since i just have a reserver spot i registered for both divisions, hope its ok. Will be glad to race on either if a spot comes up :)

I got a bit tired of GT5 cause was signed up for too many series at the same time and had to play when i didnt feel like playing. Plus, i make my living as a online poker player and i wasnt playing poker at all :P

But what tilted me and made me take a break, was that Lexus Cup race @ Tokyo. I practiced 3 or 4 days, then did the qualify. You got the pole and i was gonna start in 2nd. I was very excited for that event and didnt manage to race due to disconnection problems.

Then i got back to poker and played a lot of starcraft 2.

Started playing a bit of GT5 lately and realised that this is the game i have the most fun by far. I hope i can catch up with you guys, cause i definitely need to get rid of all the rusty :)
 
I have been really busy all weekend and haven't been able to check the forum since my last post. Really stoked on how the grids are setting up!:) This series is going to be a blast. Happy to get to race against Adam and Mole as they are in the WSGTC with me, but in a different division. Any victory in this Miata series would be absolutley amazing.

Also greatly looking forward to racing with the "regulars." Wardez, Owens, Wii, and Watson. Should be some epicly close, clean, fun racing.

@Minion - glad to see you back around GT5. I remember your pace at Monza in the Lexus IS-F cup. You just ran away. I hope we get a chance to race with you here.
 
Unless the schedule changes, I will be missing the first race of the season on October 30th. My Wife's sister is getting married in Las Vegas that weekend. So, unless I am at Eddie's house on his extra ps3, I will be missing that race. :sly:

Just wanted to give an early heads up so that the first reserve has plenty of notice and time to practice for that race.

That should be the only race I have to miss. Will have to make my other 5 races really count.

No worries, you get to drop one round from your final points standings, so as long as you make the rest you should be OK. 👍

That land yacht might actually feel pretty good with the Spec 2.0 update.

I would be unavailable for anything on Saturday as I will be drinking heavily all day in anticipation of my Alma mater losing to Wisconsin.

Div 1 has lots of drivers from both the first and second Integra season. I hope I can get in there. I wish there was open qualifying each week so if you really wanted to race you could practice until the wheels fell off to qualify. Then again, qualifying top 14 could be a challenge in this series.
 
As long as I finish on the top 7 on my division so I make it to the Championship race, Im happy. But it wont be easy. Every time I look at the driver's list, I get the chills.
 
Both divisions are going to be seriously hard, that's for sure. Flattered by some of the "alien" comments, but I think it will be really tough. A top 5 finish in a race would be a huge achievement for any driver in either division I think, but because of that, I'm really looking forward to it :D
 
I could not be more pumped for this extravaganza of racing.

@Minion. Come on m8, you know you wanna shred in division 1. I mean, come on, it's division 1. ;)
 
Just thought of something... how are you cats going to move from one div to the other after the first race if they're both full?
Need to find a buddy to swap with?
 
and btw people, we're @ 700 posts and we haven't even touched the car yet.
