Pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference? I just make the background the same color as the forum posts so that the corners blend in. If .png is actually that much better, I could do that.

Just lay your image on a transparent background. Erase the corner "blend" points and also make it as smooth as possible. .png's carry more information, so AA will make the corners look a lot smoother.

That's what I do, but then I was filling in the background with the forum color. I guess I could just leave it transparent.

And yeah, might be a bit difficult to swap. I think only a couple drivers were planning on doing that, so we'll have to figure something out.

That would be pretty cool. Going through this thread every few hours is tough, can't find new things due to multiple pages. :boggled: (Including other series and discussion threads)

Plus, Twitter is just great for updates. Let's see this happen! :)
 
Problem is I don't have a smart phone so the updates would only come when I'm near a computer. :p
 
turbo if i cant race d2 for the first week since mules integra clashes with d1 ill just use the first race as my dropped score i guess....

I'm going to have to practice like 🤬 just to compete. I'll probably rack up 800 miles (all driven by me) within those 5 days. :p
 
Oh great now what?! I say delay the start of the series by one week. We are not gonna have time to practice. The freakin DLC is already in the game, HOW HARD IS IT TO RELEASE A SIMPLE UNLOCKING CODE?!! Grrrr
 
I might delay everything a week, which means I'll have to edit all the schedule graphics.

The drivers list has been corrected.
 
That does indeed suck, especially now that some people get more practice time than others. And I really was looking forward to practicing tomorrow, maybe taking some shots as well. I guess I can take shots of the European guys cars, haha.
 
It's really strange that it would only be delayed in the NA store and not the others. It must be something up with Sony rather than PD.

Well, at least we can mess around on Spa and the new Kart track in rooms hosted by Europeans that have bought the DLC.

Amar confirmed that those without the DLC can still race on the new tracks online with others that have the DLC, but like you said you can never really know with Gran Turismo. Honestly this doesn't affect me too much as I wouldn't be able to try out the DLC until Saturday anyways, but it's still very disappointing.

Also it wouldn't be nearly as bad if they actually said WHY it's being delayed.

Can't be related to the "Special Bonus", can it? If the delay's only for North America, maybe it's something that we in the States would appreciate.

That, or they're just trying to grind our gears. :grumpy:
 
Whatever it is, it may have been someone missed a deadline or whatever. It's just speculation...and nothing to do with this Miata Series. Let's not clutter this thead up with speculation about why it was delayed.

A delay would suit me as I'm going to be moving house on the weekend of the 29th/30th, but that's purely selfish! :p
 
Im currently on a japanese lobby with the DLC... Spa looks stunning! Its insane!! Love the kart track as well... I cant try the cars though :(
