Technically not a FM sim rig as I currently don't own an xbox (and my wheel is not compatible) but here is my pc sim rig:

Well, as some of you know, I wrapped up almost everything this evening. Still have some loose end accents and vinyl wrap. If you would like to see my process head over to the Playseat customization thread.

I see you and raise you!!! :D

This is only temporary configuration:
(Project R cockpit is still a long way off being completed)

FM4 3x 24" Multiscreen & Kinect Head Tracking!

I highly recommend it...

I have the screens, I have 2 of 3 Xboxes, and 1 Forza 4. I could do that for:

$199
$79
$79
-------
$360 :)

Hi everyone! This is my first post on the forum and i`m looking forward on spending some time with you guys and girls...I`m now mostly playing GT5 and Forza 4, and here is my setup..
The Playseat GT style with the Fanatec GT2 wheel and the standard pedals (am going to switch to the CSP when my wife lets me..), the tv is a 60" lcd with full HD. Also have a buttkicker installd to the seat..
The room is for both playing games and watching movies, enjoy..! :)

Or $320 if you just go with standard copies. Sweeten that pot.

Yeah, but then I would be hosed if I had wanted to race an LCE only car, as it wouldn't be on the other Xbox's. I think that is how it would work, right?

Or do I only need one LCE?

I have no idea. You would have to ask one of the guys with multiple-screens.

Man there are some awesome setups here, I finally got mine together but I need to mount the pedals securely and get the shifter add-on. Down the road will be triple screen but at the moment I am just happy to finally have my own rig :D I can get my triple screen fix at work.

Whats with that weird finish on your wheel Jube? (or is that just a reflection)

All these nice setups are going to make me upgrade as soon as I get some extra funds.

Well I'm still working on getting a new wheel for this game. As it is I can't use my current home made cockpit. Here it is:

And a little video of it in action with working tach..

Yea its the reflection of the ceiling, I took this picture at the office.

I'm loving the wall mounted keyboard, don't know why I never thought of doing that for pc.

I just had to take my rig apart because I'm redoing my upstairs and there was nowhere to put it :( But I'm thinking I might try to integrate a wheel/pedals into my desk, I'll post pics of what I come up with.

Thank you V8malooman!

I'm now working on an armrest/gearshift holder, just started so there will be more pics later... :-)

I dont have a pic of my TV but here is my couch. Its the most comfortable couch I have ever sat on in my life. And this is where I spend all my gaming. :D

-Microfiber Suede
-Dual reclining seats
-Dual back massagers
-Couch cooler
-Dual built in lights
-Pull out Storage

Everything closed

Will that be comfortable while your arm is resting that high above the shifter? With mine I left the arm rest level with the shift which made it much more comfy. Yours might look nicer though with that design.

You could go to Home Depot or some other hardware/lumber store and buy that really thin panel wood. Then you could remove that big board on top. the panel wood will curve with the contour too which would look killer. You could trim it to go from the shifter then up the curve and across the top.

Just an idea...

That, is just plain cool.

I however, have just ordered a Fanatec GT2 with standard shifter set! I shall post my "setup" (if you can call it that) when it arrives.

You are right, i tried it out with the seat and it got a little to high, so the top board is in the trash, i skrew another board inside the outsides.. :boggled: (english is not my usual language) to drop it a bit and now its perfect!
More pics will come...! :)

Edit: Like your rig!! :)

Here's my simple/cheap setup. Nothing too fancy, but it does the job. The stand is in its closed position. When opened, it brings the wheel closer to me. Sorry about the quality, pictures are taken with my Ipod.

SPEED, finally showing some V8 Supercars live.

You need a proper wheel stand or cockpit for that sweet Fanatec kit!

You're just jealous.

Don't really have the room for a cockpit, but a stand, something similar like the Rennsport Wheel Stand V2, could work. I'll most likely try and build it myself, since it should be cheaper, depending on materials. Have to see what's out there, as far as designs, and get some ideas.

If I laid down on that, I would NEVER EVER wake up.

Plenty of ideas over at GTP.
