I can't even compare to Goose over there, such a sweet set up you have but this suits me..

I've got two separate 'rigs', so to speak, for GT5 and Forza 4.
My GT5 rig is just my custom corner desk, but it works.

And my other rig... Well, I'm not certain you could classify it as a rig. It was actually supposed to be a Vewlix clone, but I gave up after I finished the base of it and just turned it into what it is now. Also, part of the reason I say it's not a true rig is the lack of an Xbox-compatible wheel. I'm hoping to get a CSR soon. :(

Nice set up Steve. If you don't mind me asking.... Did you remove the pedal plate? If so why? I am a bit confused on the pictures lol.

Also, did you make the shifter mount yourself? I am looking at picking one up soon. Still only using my paddles.

I was on a budget on this one, I do want to add a used car seat eventually, so this is all stuff I rigged up in about an hour in my garage. Just got the wheel and didn't have any table nearby so I just made something up from random stuff I had in the garage, so nothing spent on the setup. Its not as nice as some of the ones on here which are pretty nice, but it works. I also use on the pc.

hi, i made the shifter holder at work, i copied a design from a picture on the internet. i dont know what you mean about the pedal plate (the first picture is pedals on my old wheel stand pro before i bought the playseat)

Oh ok. The Wheel Stand Pro picture had me confused. I wasn't sure if that was a post-mod picture or what. The shifter mount looks great. Good job.

i got a crappy tv, smaller then the average pc monitor, a thrustmaster 458 racing wheel, and a chair. that's it lol. but im planning on getting a csr, elite pedals and csr shifter in june (16th birthday) :)

some awesome mancaves in here! verry, verry jealous

I'm currently using a Rennsport wheel stand w/ a csr wheel and csr elite pedals. Later (after we move into a house) I'd consider getting a triple screen setup. However, I don't think I could bring myself to buying 3 monitors just for my xbox. I'd like it to be used on a computer desk that could easily be used for Forza 4 when necessary. That way if I get a decent graphics card I might be able to play this in triple screen as well...

My gaming setup, I have a Fanatec GT2, CSR shifter and CSR pedals. I play on a 43" Samsung 3D plasma with a Sony 5.1 stereo.

Hey everyone, I would like to share my rig.

This rig comes from about a year of the initial build and constant modifying and changing of almost all of it. At first it was a center post, used for my DFGT and MSWRW. My wife bought me the CSR Value Pack XL and I changed the rig to a non-center post design. I also made my own set of Pedal Inversion plates, and I changed my sequential shifter to a rally style e-brake for Dirt 3 and WRC 2.

I work at a metal shop and my old boss was very much into sim racing as well, so he let me make all of this stuff at the shop! here are the pics.

If you're wondering where my PS3 and 360 are. Those wires to the left of the TV run up to my PS3 and 360 which I keep upstairs in the living room. I just switch out the wires on the back before I go downstairs to race.:D

This is my Forza 4 triple screen rig:

The screens are : 46" 55" 46". I'm using thezoom feature of the side screens to adjust the picture size and align the images of the screens. The middle screen ( samsung ue55D7000 ) has those nice thin bezels:D

I have Fanatec CSR Elite with club sport pedals and a OMG race seat

Three buttkickers under the seat for tactile feedback

One BKG2 for tactile at the pedals

During the daytime it's my office, in the evening it's a race rig

I really hope Forza Horizon wil support triples too

Man caves? How about a woman cave? :)

Thanks to my wonderful, understanding, beloved other half, who got me this early Christmas present

Pete, of course, uses it when I'm not around or too busy to drive, but when we both want to drive he uses this

Here's something for everyone who feels less awesome about their rig, when they compare what they got to most of the stellar rigs in this thread...

You aint alone.

Gotta do what you gotta, to make due. :D

Changed out the craptastic 4:3 Westinghouse for a 16:9 Samsung LED-LCD. Better refresh, max resolution with the VGA Cable, and damn near blur less 120m/s of refresh. Being able to read signs while turning is the lick!

Pic to come soon.

Where's the clutch gone???^^^^^^^^

Pete doesn't have the Fanatec shifter, so he's removed the clutch pedal and shifted the brake pedal across a bit to give himself more room between pedals.:)

We both just paddle shift.

You should use auto clutch then if you don't already, it will take seconds of your lap times.

I have to be totally honest, I am so new to Forza and the Fanatec wheel, I have no idea how that works. I'll have a search on here! :)

Open the settings menu of your wheel (the small pin-like one on the right), 1 click left (or go all to the right), there you can turn it on and off. Then you have to choose a button that will act like your clutch when you push it. I have no experience with this though.

I updated my cave with two new (LED) screens for sim racing, 5.1 dolby and Asus dolby sound card :D
