Any guesses when PD is planning for the release of DLC? What would be more "strategic/successfull"? Releasing DLC during or after the release of FM4.
How's "Never" sound to you?

The Autozam was suprisingly fun, yeah - I've got to admit, I enjoyed it after upgrading it to hell and back againThe following may surprise a few (and horrify many) but one of the cars I was most pleased to see as a premium was the Mazda Autozam AZ-1. Amazing little car and great fun to drive both in stock form and modified form.
It gets a 👍 from me.
Scaff
Nowadays, I think you'll be hard pressed to find one used as a daily in Europe, too, but I doubt that it was a collectors car in the 90'sIn America, if you have a RS chances are it's not a daily.
Maybe thats just us since it wasnt sold here.
Strategically, it would be wise to release DLC before and after FM4's launch. On the other hand, it would've been a very good decision to release DLC already, to take a bit of FM4's thunder away, but PD didn't - which, to me, isn't all that suprising. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if DP didn't release DLC at all. If they didn't do so in the first nine months after release, I can hardly see them releasing it at all.Any guesses when PD is planning for the release of DLC? Well, it depends which Escort were talking about. I know theres a late 90's model thats about as much of a daily driver as a Camry.
Those races are pretty weak in GT5, even with a really evenly competitive car. In my opinion the races in GT4 were so much better, but nothing tops an actual race with real people with similar skills and similar cars. With that combination, it's hard not to have fun. Unfortunately, there are very few rooms that actually run Kei car races, so I kind of have to forget about them and race in more common cars (which are by no means less fun to race).
I would urge you to give them more of a chance, but just doing that is very difficult with the way GT5 is set up. Oh well though, It's still nice that they're there, and occasionally I get a chance to use them in a competitive race. Just posting this inspires me to open a room for Kei cars, though I doubt many would join.
Actually most cars can do 100mph at ease without much issue of wear and tear, just a matter if you have a safe road or not. Cars run better if you thrash in once in a while. 👍
Racing some kei cars around a tight track with mates irl would be ace fun, but in GT5, in my opinion, the complete lack of a sense of speed or being 'on the edge' made kei (and anything not moderate in perfomance) cars a complete and utter bore.
I agree but Kie cars were fun on Citta di Aria and Costa di Amalfi. The narrowness of those tracks made low end cars a blast. Even 500r's. On World tracks they were just dull and the engine sounds did not help. However 800hp turbo lagged cars on Costa di Amalfi were a waste of time.
True. I recognize that the lack of narrow and windy tracks (and without excessively long straights) in GT5 like those you mentioned doesn't help people enjoying those cars. Track lists focusing mainly on real life, FIA-approved tracks like wouldn't help either.
By them skipping the Standard tracks from GT4, they made a mistake. In GTPSP those track were my most used ones.
I loved the narrow windy tracks of GT4.
I LOVE the Amalfi Coast tracks in Forza
Also, whilst we're talking about tracks, I despise the fact that Mt. Panorama (Bathurst) isn't in Forza. Sure, T10 get V8 Supercars, but don't include the track. I might go get SHIFT 2 simply for the fact it has Bathurst.
...Again, I say: so much Aussie neglect.

I've heard EA have the Bathurst licence.
So how did you skip Forza 3? That was a no brainier seeing it had EVERY car I love..... ...except for the buzz kill Pagani line up.

Got a source? I don't think so, for one, I don't think Bathurst is specifically licensed to anyone. I mean, just last year, didn't Codemasters have it in GRID? Before that there was "TOCA Race Driver" (or whatever), a bit of searching turned up that apparently last year SIM BIN has some sort of license... Now SHIFT has it.
I really doubt Forza would pick up the rights to a couple V8 Supercars and NOT put the track in. But ... it happened, so, something stopped it.
I haven't raced V8 Supercars on Bathurst in a game for so long.
EDIT: A lot more searching and it appears my assumption was correct. Codemasters have the current license to the "official" V8 Supercars series, which it why Forza only had a couple of the teams. However - and a part oversight on my behalf - Bathurst (or to be more specific, Mount Panorama) is a public road, it is not a closed circuit, so I believe no one has, nor can license the "track", only the likeness (i.e. the series or branded representation, for example the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 - or whoever owns it now)... Which means, Turn 10 should be able to make the track and just put certain V8's on it, just not the entire series.

Amazing physics. Really amazing.

Thanks Bogie. Luckily, I found a list that sorted the cars by PI, so it was relatively easy to figure the numbers out.
Just for a visual impression, here's a quick graph:

Agreed!Bugs like that happen in every game (in PC sims even more), just look in YouTube for "Forza 3 glitch". You can do crazy stuff in FM3 too.
I have Forza 3. I bought the Ultimate Collection. I just don't have a Xbox to play it on at the moment.![]()
You bought a game for a system you don't even have?

Lack of damage modelling =/= bad physics.
Oh and by the way, for people discussing Bathurst in Forza and how they could go about getting the track in the game, did any of you own the first Forza game? Forza 1 on the original Xbox had a track called Blue Mountains Raceway which was based heavily on Bathurst. I really have no idea why they haven't brought that track back to the series to be honest, I know a lot of fans miss it. Here's a video in case anyone wanted to see:
