It wasn't just the wording, the whole post was nonsensical.

Anyway, a complete game for me is very much that - complete. A finished article where everything works as intended/advertised, and has been developed with quality control in mind. A well designed, user-friendly, polished experience, that runs smoothly and is of a consistent quality throughout.

Forza 3 was all of the above.

Really, I thought I saw several poorly modeled interiors and exteriors of cars in Forza 3. Before you bring up GT's standard cars, they realised that they had no way of creating cockpit views for every car so they simply didn't bother to implement it.

And people bang on about half assed things......

Perhaps when some are berating GT for not outsourcing, the issue could just be that they refuse to sacrifice quality control, especially with something so important as the cars you drive.
Outsourcing does not even remotely mean lack of quality control. To imply that it does is a ridiculous false dichotomy.

Really, I thought I saw several poorly modeled interiors and exteriors of cars in Forza 3.
Which carries the implication that there aren't cars in GT5 with similar problems.

There are more silly statements in your combined double post, but I really don't want to bother pointing them out. I will simply say this: Your arguments would be a lot more valid if you didn't immediately resort to strawmen for each one.

Your basis for a retort is comparing one model of car that has absolutely no interior, to another model of car that does? Whether or not MoTeC actually functions in the cockpits that utilize such acquisition data is irrelevant -- fact of the matter is, there's a cockpit.

And the whole thing about not having a way of creating a generic cockpit view is bull.

Your not serious are you? If you are than you completely missed the point of what people are getting at when they explain complete vs incomplete. PD coming out with a spec2.0 proves the game is incomplete. Forza would never do that because the game is already what they wanted it to be when it's released (minus a few small bugs that need fixing with any game)

So forza 3 was also incomplete since they have been patching in things since it launched? E.g hand animations on the shifting. And now i feel really dirty since i hate this thread.

How do you take the word "buggy" and get "Perfect"?

That's.....what?

I just pointed to stuff that was added onto forza 3. Someone argued spec 2 shows gt5 was incomplete since they are adding things. Im showing both games have had features added or tuned. Should i therefore consider forza 3 incomplete since other features were added or fixed just as gt5. I think forza 3 was a complete game dont you?

Both games had bugs.
And, once again, buggy does not mean the same thing as incomplete. Do both games have feature sets promised on the game packaging that have yet to be included in the games? Is Forza still lacking in that critical "shift animation" bullet point that is apparently promised on the back of the Forza box?

Serious question, because GT5 still does and I legitimately don't know if Forza 3 does.

Really? One added implementation which was added very shortly after launch vs the several GT has been having added and continuing to have added (spec2.0) a year later. The rest of what FM3 fixed were mainly bug fixes which once again GT has had at least 2 or 3 times as many bug fixes already and they probably aren't done yet. Bottom line is PD continues to add thing to the game a year later that was planned on being there originally. A year after FM3 was released FM 4 was announced.

Also, a good portion of Forza's patches were leaderboard wipes because of people glitching but at least GT doesn't have that problem since it doesn't have leaderboards. ;)

So will you let me say forza 3 was incomplete since features have been added to the game? Also i would like to see these features that were promised? I want to compare. Since thats the game. So how do we play this? The one with more added wins?

I'll just say, I'm still waiting for the leaderboards and 1,000 detailed customizable cars I was promised on the back of the box.

Oh, and match making has been crap in alot of games. Thats if kaz even promised it. In that vein i should say where is my night racing in forza? But alas, dan never promised night racing didnt he right?

Nah, It seems the more you repeat a lie it becames the truth. Especially on the internet.

Wanna play that way? Fine.

Also i would like to see these features that were promised?
Did the box say all 1000 were customizable? Leaderboards? I didnt see where kaz promise that but ill let you have that. What else did kaz supposedly promise? :dopey:
Take your GT5 Blu Ray case. This first part is important: Make sure that the front of the box (that's the part with the big "Gran Turismo 5" logo on it) is facing you. Now, rotate it on its center axis 180 degrees, or just enough so you can no longer see any of the GT5 logo. Shift your glance from the center of the box where the pretty pictures are to the space about 3 inches up. If you get to the transparent part, you've gone too far.

Now, read the words in the little gray box. Note how the second and fourth words in that box are not actually in the game.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

The one with more added wins?
No. The one that has features listed on the back of the box that still aren't in the game wins.

Hence my question about whether there were similar things with the Forza 3 packaging.

So if i find one it counts? Just one? Not two or three? Only one makes the game incomplete? Okay. Im sure i can make forza incomplete now right? Since thats the point. Mind you, i consider both games complete.

On the back of the box it reads: "Customize, race, and upgrade over 1,000 detailed cars..."

There's more but that specific part is verbatim (that means word-for-word).

"Making cars AWD makes them more powerful"
" I rather have no cockpits than dead ones"
"Engine Swapping is Stupid"
" How can a Civic make more than 600 hp when in GT it can only make 400, GT is more real so they have to be right, right"
.... And the like are silly little statements that some of you people use get old when you can't do any of them.

I can: Visually and Mechanically upgrade my brakes, Engine swap, Livery edit/buy, paint any car anyway I want without any hassle( paint chips I'm looking at you), have someone tune for me, sell that car for in game money once I'm done with it, Have a more categorized modification upgrade list ( Heads, cams, Block, pistons, etc ), tires by width, rims by size, a more sensible/logical choice of tire compounds, un-restrict race cars... I could keep going about all the "incompleteness" that is Forza. Sure, they patched the hand animations, patched the drag strips because some people whined their 600 hp 1,700 pound car couldn't hook off the line with circuit slicks (lol), but it has leaderboards for every track, every car category and every mode. "But, we have night and weather"... great, now go run those tracks in a Kubbelwagen with a engine type 2 a rom chip (lol) a dirt bike muffler and a herbie horn... lol

Oh, and match making has been crap in alot of games. Thats if kaz even promised it. In that vein i should say where is my night racing in forza? But alas, dan never promised night racing didnt he right?

It's an online feature mentioned in the manual, right underneath Open Lobby. It's been promised ever since the game made it into stores almost a year ago.

No. Any number, really. Seeing as how that's what the word means.

Okay. Im sure i can make forza incomplete now right?
I dunno, can you?

Since thats the point. Mind you, i consider both games complete.
Considering "complete" and "incomplete" are absolute terms, your considerations on the matter are irrelevant.

If you look closely it says "As real as it gets" i guess Forza 3 blew the competition out of the water. In bolder form it says "Were dreams are driven", i don't know about you but my dream is to drive around spa. Is that too much to ask of both games?
