FM4 and G27/G25 compatibility

They wont unless Logitech makes a new wheel that is supported it simply wont work without a XCM and even then it wont work properly. The G25/27 wont work with any xbox games.

Furthermore people continue to hold out or debate Logitech just adding support.
It also has the simple fact that ANY X360 wheel has to of been approved as an officially supported product.

Licensing agreements cover many things that the Logitech wheels did not go through and so will never be properly compatible. People need to get over this fact and it isn't possible even if technically it could be done.

SRT mentioned that their could be another X360 wheel coming that wasnt shown at E3.
I would suggest you wait to see what is announced at Gamescom.

Well, I really think it's just plain pathetic that these companies are so dam greedy for the lions share that they will not lic. a particular wheel. To tell you the truth, I have a WII and a PS3 and use my G27 for GT5. Seriously, I'm an advocate for this. In GT5, I have over 1500 cars with a few dupes so with that said, I'm not just a casual gamer. I was bored of GT5 and thinking about getting an xbox just for Forza and after reading up on the people saying buy a Fanatech etc because G27 isn't supported I'll just say I pass. This is such BS. Greedy corporations. I'm actually so fkng sick of SONY I will never spend another dime on one of their product. Seriously, they not only try to illegally gather info about you (read about the root kit fiasco) but they then bungle handling of your personal data and because of it have the friking nerve to say the next upgrade makes you agree to arbitration and not sue them if they blatently violate your rights again! This is a company with a track record of consistantly not giving a rats A$$ about it's customers and now they spiut right in your face and say the thing you bought, and paid them good money for, won't work as designed unless you now sign up for their agreement to not sue them!!! sorry digressing.. back to the "other rant" of xbox not supporting G27. I think I;ll just go drive my M3.. yes I do own one, an e90 with a bunch of mods, and forget about xbox and PS3 and their petty greedy agendas.. fck em all. I would have happily spent bundles on this crap but I'm done.

Hey btw- I'm not pointing this at you, or anyone else who responds. I just want to scream as loud as I can I'm sick of these companies thinking they can do whatever they want and we will just fork over a few more $$.
There is no reason Xbox should not support the G27, G25, etc... except they only wrote drivers for Windows and the PS3 and that Microjunk didn't pay them to write them for the xbox.
I don't give a rats A$$ what anybody's opinion is on that topic. It all comes down to what I just said.

I think there may be a lot more than you really think.

Adding support for Logitech Wheels doesn't just mean G25/G27 there are a lot of Logitech wheels that cater to different parts of the market.

If there were only a "few" that buy wheels then no one would make them as it wouldn't be financially viable.

I still think its disgusting the Xbox360 can't support logitech wheels considering its closer to the PC than a PS3 is. As mentioned all really needed is M$ to actually license it and an API to make it compatible.

To add to the "isn't as much as you think" me, my cousin and a friend have G25's/G27's and GT5... We would all go buy an xbox tomorrow along with fm4 'IF' it support the G25/G27.

I for the life of me can't stand the Fanatecs... I don't see what people like about them. How on earth you could drive with a Porsche steering wheel but be in a Honda NSX for example is beyond me.. that is the most annoying crap ever the branded fanatec wheels which to me plainly look dicky and out of place for a SIM racer...

Oh and what's even more ironic? The Fanatecs work on FM4 but wait for it... there are no Porsche's in the game!!!!! Go figure. Idiots...

I agree with you about Fanatec Porsche wheels as I favor G27 over them BUT now Fanatec is coming out with more "racing" wheels.
