I know how to do that, kinda. My bike's tires have too much grip in them, I can't get any kind of slide out of them. I once did it on my mom's bike (old racing-style). I actually managed to maintain the drift for a good ten yards, but then the bike gave out...

I hate to sound like a jerk, but I used to do that on my banana bike in about 1971. We had a lot of roads with a fine coating of gravel on them, and you can do some viscious drifts with the coaster brake.
A couple of years later we graduated to dirtbike motorcycles. We used to go flat-out sideways in a big circle around a huge pile of brush and junk in my neighbor's yard. We wore the grass down in a big ring from the motorcycles going sideways all the way around.
