The mediums would not do well on this stint
 
Not sure what Mercedes is planning here.
 
I think Hamilton has plenty of time to chase down and pass Max with much newer tires.

He did, they both did, but they're probably not the best tyre to put on now.

They will be close near the finish, but passing will be tough
 
New mediums aren’t good enough for what Lewis has to do. Hards are the only ones that can take the abuse.

Hamilton is not reducing the lead by much. With 15 laps remaining he should be reducing the gap by at least 0.7 seconds per lap to have some buffer to try and overtake a couple of times.

Bit of luck with traffic can make a big difference. But don't think Lewis can do it
 
I don’t know how anyone can write off Lewis right now, we’ve seen this same situation multiple times this season. It can go either way.

Tsunoda held up Verstappen for quite a while and that has killed Max.

He's past them. Unless Mazepin ambles around in front of them again.
 
Maybe Mercedes will prove me wrong in the end, I'm impressed already.
 
At this point, I will be surprised if Hamilton isn't peeking through with 3 laps to go.
 
He's catching him slowly now, around 4 tenths-ish per lap.

edit: Looks like Mercedes predicted it right, it will be down to the last 3 laps.

Unless Max's tyres massively drop off, Lewis' pace is nowhere good enough to make a pass even if he gets there.

Bottas having to lift following Sainz through the fast right hander at the end of sector 3, whereas Max was comfortably glued to Lewis' rear through every corner at the start of the race lap after lap.

Will happily eat my own words later.
