No chance, clearly Alonsos corner.
 
A 10 second penalty isn’t enough for that, from both safety aspect and a competition aspect.

Antonelli was blocked from pitting, which in those case is a far greater penalty than most on track incidents.
 
Lewis on the podium. Sprints are good.
 
HAM needs to hang back as far as possible to get VER farther back in the standing +10 sec.
 
Have not seen a replay yet, but my first thought was that Liam deserved some space there that Alonso didn’t give him any.

So another lucky win for Norris, solid points for Piastri, Ferrari finally time something well with Hamilton executing it well, Verstappen unlucky to be let down by his team and pit system really, another good bad weather performance for Albon.

I'm 50/50 on Lawson and Alonso. Neither driver wanted to accept defeat but one got royally screwed.

Weird Sprint. Always stoked for a McLaren 1-2. Nice P3 for Lewis. Hope tomorrow has more changing conditions.

Lawson never had the corner though, the way the track pinches in with the barriers etc, you have to have that move done before the corner.

I'm just looking forward to Alonso having a chip on his shoulder for the rest of the season because of this.

In his interview he responded to this by saying he couldn't really see anything so he just hoped for the best 😂
 
And the FIA want to increase the pit lane speed limits, I wonder what the outcome would have been there with a 100kph speed limit. Very different.
