Well, de la Rosa is the more experienced of the two, but even he's been struggling to keep up with the Marussias. This is by far HRT's best year, but the car is still a dog.
 
True, but de la Rosa never really set the Formula 1 world on fire, he's only ever been on the podium once.

Given the machinery he's had to drive in his career, that isn't exactly a surprise.

So if he has all of this talent (Along with the STR guys, and Karthikeyan), why haven't Ferrari rang them yet? Or Mercedes. Or Renault.

If you ask me, de la Rosa is about the same type of driver Heidfield was. The driver who could give you at least 95% of the car's potential, 100% of the time. The difference is that the only car de la Rosa drove that could challenge for podiums was the 2006 McLaren.
