Also, as always, I'm left scratching my head trying to figure out what black magic Red Bull uses to seemingly pull all this speed they have out of thin air. I completely understand they have one of the most competitive chassis in the field, but their consistency and under-dramatic efforts in achieving their success usually catches me by surprise.
Its just very disappointing really how they seem to suddenly get faster come crunch time in the year. It's not been AS lopsided though like during the Ferrari/Michael years. Other cars have been winning races, even in 2011.

Funny thing is, I was a Vettel fan in 2010 when he was battling Webber for leadership, I thought he was the underdog taking on all the big shots. Now Red Bull management and Vettel together have become like a dictatorship almost.

There goes Rosberg's chances of a decent grand prix. He didn't get to tweak the car and assuming his car makes it in qualifying, he'll have a **** race. Then, all the Hamilton fanboys will completely disregard his consistent bad luck and get wet at Hamilton getting good results.

Anyway let's hope at least 2 cars qualify ahead of Vettel, somehow.

Be careful what you wish for. The last big crash at the start of a race Alonso nearly got his head taken off.
Obviously I don't want anyone to get hurt but if Sebastian is leading the race after lap 2 I'm probably going to stop watching until next season. Ok maybe not, but I'd watch the rest of the season looking like this >> :indiff:

He put himself in a awkward position by going off at Parabolica and having to go out again.

Eddie Jordan said Sutil in a recent court case said some weird things about Hamilton... what weird things?

Hamilton saying to Lee his driving was stupid in Q2 regardless of the impediment.

Vettel pole, Webber second, but Hulkenberg snatched 3rd from nowhere, here's hoping he can jump the Redbulls and make an interesting race.

Court case? The only thing I can think of was Sutil being angry at his former friend for not testifying in his defense after the whole nightclub incident. As far as I'm aware, the two haven't patched things up. Bit of a stretch to link that to a typical moment of brain fade from Sutil.

Yeah, that's I only case I know about too. Because the two have fallen out I was wondering what he said, like juicy tabloid stuff . We all know what Eddie is like embellishing the truth!

Congrats to Sauber 👍

Oh golly, what an exciting procession we have to look forward to, wow!

Let's just save some money and cancel the remaining races, utterly pointless.

I think it's going to be good watching Hamilton come through the field, and see Hulkenberg attempting to get the Red Bulls in the first corner.

Remember, there is a good chance of rain, so the weekend isn't over yet. It will be a good race.

If it's dry, Vettel will be long gone and there will be some good battles behind.
If it's wet, Vettel will be long gone and there will be some good battles behind.

Not good enough from Ferrari and Alonso, but it's a long (well not long by F1 standards) race tomorrow.

You still have optimism? It's this simple:
If Blondie qualifies on front row - he'll disappear away and that's that.
If Blondie qualifies on any other row - Entertaining race which isn't predictable after two laps.
If Blondie qualifies lower than third - instant must-watch-at-all-costs race.

Our only hope of a good race is if Hulkenberg can shut the door before T1. That's it. Three hours of racing depends on his ten seconds from lights to corner.

Fixed :)

F1 races are limited to 2 hours of track time - and a dry Monza race will barely crack 80 minutes.

Was that before or after running off at Parabolica, because that looks like after returning to the track but I can't be sure.

...Slightly going off topic, anyone catch Martin Whitmarsh's refusal to deny that McLaren will be helping develop/build Honda's next NSX...?

Disappointed that Lewis never got to Q3 to potentially stop Sebastian getting a pole position in the dry this year, seemed like he had the pace to challenge again. Should be a good sign for the race. Will be interesting to see how competitive the car will be in the wet at start of race if weather forecast turns out to be true. He needs to somehow finish close to Sebastian or ahead to keep championship hopes up.

Hopefully the first four drivers behind Sebastian, one of them manages to get ahead, otherwise we will probably see Sebastian be out of reach quite quickly if it is a safety car free race.

Ok seriously no one lol'ing at Lolonso? He tried the tow trick with Massa and it all goes wrong by 1. not getting pole and 2. ending up behind Massa. I personally find it hilarious. Also I always have to laugh at all these sentences: "Oh noes Blondie, teh Finger, etc. on pole again!".

Very much looking forward to another Vettel win and the 4th championship in a row. :sly:

I would find it more funny if it was his decision, more so the reality of it being Ferrari's decision.
