Sainz, Perez and both HAAS are out.
 
I struggle to understand what happened just from the damage
 
Sainz is limping so he is back in contention assuming the damage is not too bad.
 
That is annihilated, amazing that the first thing we saw was Perez walking around out the car
 
What the... did Perez's car explode or something?!
 
For a brief moment I was thinking that was such a ridiculous overreaction to Sainz's puncture but... wow, that's a mess.
 
Looks like Perez crashed on his own and collected both Haas cars. Checo is back baby.
 
Perez was tagged by Magnussen and he got ricocheted back into Hulkenberg.

OK, the overhead shot cleared up the Carlos/Oscar contact for me.

Hope KMag isn't punished for that... nowhere to go.
 
I'd say racing incident, no severe blame on any party.

Edit: not so sure now after seeing KMags onboard

Jesus, huge wreck for Checo and the Haas cars there. Glad everyone's okay. Race ban for Kevin is certain now, surely. That was entirely on him

Yeah he has to get parked for a race. That was about as stupid as you could be at that part of the track. First lap no less.
 
That was a very opportunist overtake attempt, I would be surprised if he doesnt get a ban.
