What the smeg was Button even thinking?

I saw a quick note from race control about "incident involving cars 2 and 3 under investigation by the stewards" just before the whole McLaren debacle.

Wow that was a dumb move by Button. Did he know it was his teammate he was running into the wall?

Hamilton's car was throwing carbon fiber all over the race course after that incident.

Lewis should have backed out of that or tried around the outside into turn 1, with that spray there's no chance in hell Button would of seen him.

Well, a broken rear corner might be the reason!

Another stupid mistake from Hamilton, he really just needs to mature and grow up.

Why the hell did Hamilton park the car in the middle of the track?

There's no exit enterance, i guess. :p
Oh, damage car must be stop immdietly, or else he'll be fine. It's the part of the rules.
Remember Jaime tyres off (China GP) and try to make it back to the pit?
He got fined by steward.

You're implying that it wasn't Buttons fault.

Get over yourself and stop looking for any excuse to bash Hamilton.

Boneheaded block by Button.

I've never liked him and this proves why.

He just drove is ideal line, it's the line everyone takes there.. He didn't blocked Hamilton.

"As you can see, it's raining..."

Then why are the safety car's wipers not even on?

I love FOX's coverage...

They were both at fault.

Button should have been paying more attention, Hamilton shouldn't have kept driving forward into a gap that was no longer there.

Lewis driving like an ass again, Jeson has a right to defend the position and Lewis needed to back off because the gap was dissapearing. He probably didn't get a penalty for the Webber incident because the stewards saw he was already out of the race and probably thought he would go all Godzilla on them!

He's also under investigation for speeding behind the safety car!

How was Button blocking Hamilton? He was moving onto the racing line, Hamilton had enough speed to take Button on the other side, and he would have known that Button would most likely move onto the line.

Alonso has a terrible setup so he really needs to get Vettel into the chicane or turn 1. Jenson won't be long on the inters.

Hamilton under investigation for safety car speed. 3 investigations in 11 laps. Not the best of races for Hamilton.:p

They're on Fox instead of Speed, so they have to explain every little thing to dumb it down for all the first time or casual watchers.

Cameras showing us Colin Farrell... Don't you just hate the random celebrities who get the hospitality most fans would die for? Especially when some of them clearly have no interest in the race.

Button was on the left of the track on the straight. The ideal line is actually on the right because the first turn is a left one.

I wish they'd quit the onboard view. We can't see anything by it.

I don't see how Button being on the racing line makes that incident his fault.

Lewis could have easily gone to the right.

Haha, yeah...

In my opinion...

Webber + Hamilton = Racing incident
Button + Hamilton = Button's fault, however, Hamilton is too eager and ambitious again.

Pretty much this.

Also, "right to defend position" =/= "right to squeeze your teamate into the wall."

Exactly my thoughts, stupid move by Hamilton. He really should use his brain more.

You have got to be kidding me?

This is what Jenson's view of the entire sequence from the final chicane would have been:

He was driving down the dry line. Hamilton picked the narrowing side rather than the widening one and, instead of backing out and not smashing into his team mate, kept his foot in for his second investigation (third, if you include the now-superfluous safety car speed limit) in three laps.

Hamilton seems to have carried his Monaco dickishness on to Montreal, rather than learning from it.
