Have Kobay come to pit?
If he have, Sauber could opt on one stop strategy. :)

If he could make a set of tires last the whole race, he wouldn't have to stop at all. Remember, the whole "use both compounds" rule only applies to dry races.

Iagree with Martin Brundle, its stupid that theres a safety car currently with no incident, what with all the nannying by race control these days, just let them race eitherwise 3/4 of the race won't be a race! Its unfair to those who have taken a gamble on wet tyres. "Health and saftey gone mad" indeed.

Yeah, Sauber has been known for the best tyre conserve.
Podium would be great for him. A win, i would be smiling the whole day. :D

Of course Vettel says it's undrivable when he's leading the race -_-
Button just agreed with him though...

EDIT: It's way too heavy now. They've got to red flag it.

Vettel concerned that Kobayashi would aquaplane into him. And he also said "not just me, but everyone behind me is blind and will aquaplane and smash me." I tought for a minute he was worried for there welfare instead of just his race. Disgraceful.👎

Red flag.

I reckon they should stop the race, get out and have a wet t-shirt contenst.

Red flagged.

I heard him say that they'd 'aquaplane and smash their car'. Benefit of the doubt?

I remember when races took place in conditions like/worse than this. The nannying now-a-days is kinda annoying. It's like a spot of rain means that it's un-raceable. It's ridiculous that they started under safety car & it's daft that they got a safety car just for a bit of rain.
In one reason I would be annoyed if they red flagged it like Korea but on the other side of things koba being second I wouldnt mind a red

Edit oh look a red... >.<'

Wet race, and my two favourite drivers at the front. Lovely!

👍

Hoping for a good result for Kobayashi. It might just get him the publicity he deserves. To those wanting the race to resume, maybe 20 seconds before the red flag, I thought "the rain is far too heavy".

I want to see a race too. But I don't want to wait for a big crash taking out half the field.

Will Buxton: "I haven't seen rain this hard since. . . Korea last year." The FIA red-flagged that one too, so at least they're consistent...
