Force India screwed themselves over. They could have scored a podium today.

Alonso has to be the coolest guy on the grid right now. I have never seen a driver go into the audience to let people have his stuff.

Hamilton and his Mercedes got to be in the comfort zone today. The Merc is clearly still strong when it gets to stretch its legs in clean air.

Vettel was on much, much, much newer tires.

Perez was still being an idiot. If he'd let Ocon through and Ocon had taken down Ricciardo, they could have double-teamed Ricciardo and used him as a buffer to defend against Vettel.

As it is, they got held up several laps longer than necessary, which lost them a possible podium plus an extra place and points, to boot.
 
Driver of the day for me is comfortably Hamilton, he dominated that race so much I forgot he was even racing. Honorable mention to Ocon for one hell of a drive, Vettel for those moves on the Force Indias and to Stroll for looking like he belongs in F1 for the first time.
 
Well then... I'm pissed off with Force India for not letting Ocon through because he should have been on the podium(this coming from a massive Ricciardo fan) and I'm pissed off with Honda for not only being 17mph slower on the straights, but also not being capable of building a car that can travel 300kms. How stupid are their engineers???

They should put the 1.5t from the Civic in the back of that car.

It's more reliable, gets better fuel economy, and it'd probably be much faster, too, if you put enough V-TEC stickers on the car.

Somebody needs to make a flowchart of "McLaren Missing out on the Points" just like the NASCAR one of "How Will Kyle Larson Lose the Race."
 
I think that's another Grand Chelem for Lewis now up to four equalling Ayrton, awesome race weekend for him. 👍

That's what I'm seeing all over the net, either you were happy about his start and disheartened he was let down by his car. Or you were angry about the start and happy to see his car quit on him. No in-between

2 Ferrari race starts ruined by other cars, great drive to get back to 4th though. It is easier when you have the best car in the grid like Merc have done in previous seasons, think Ham in spa? But great drive and deserves driver of day.
