Raikkonnen's penalty from the last race has been granted a review, which sets (I think) an interesting precedent in itself.

As I understand it Race Control called a rolling start after 1 lap rather than the 2 laps stated in the rules. A 1-lap restart should have been a standing start. That left Kimi adrift with no way of getting to the right place for this new procedure.

Hamilton is in dirty air but still takes better lines through corners.

Is everyone going for a one stopper?

edit: Looks like it. Stroll has 27 laps on the softs.

It is absolutely so damn frustrating that Lewis was easily able to pass Valterri but Max cannot pull anything off

All Bottas did in the first stint was get in the way of the championship fight.

Perez has now led 2 laps, more than Gasly or Albon managed in the last 2 seasons. He is far enough ahead to be a problem for Mercedes if there's a Safety Car. This driver move is pretty much already worth it then.

Bottas has given up now Max is through.

good grief, how long until Perez makes a pit stop?? Red Bull are really making full use of his tire management skills.
