That wasn't enough for Max. 42 points gap with 58 points to go is pretty much impossible. 30 points for Piastri is also a lot. I think we can really safely say Lando has this now.

Max was pretty much out of it last race to be honest. The question is if, not when, Norris clinches. Probable it happens at Qatar.

BIG PINK LEGO CADDY!! 🥰*

Despite some nice overtakes here and there, the race wasn't very exciting.

Max never looked to be under threat once he built a gap to George.

Not a big fan of Lando's move at the start of the race. Dumb. Had to remind myself that Oscar was also in the race.

Nice podium for George, and a solid job from Kimi to make those Hards last.

Good work getting both Ferraris into the points.

Great results from Sainz, Hadjar, and Hulk. I had hoped that the Williams had a bit more pace.

*Driven by Terry Crews?! And he's singing?!

Yeah, it basically required a Lando DNF for there to be any chance left for Max.

Yeah, I think now, Lando just has to finish at least 6th in the next 2+1 races, & I think he'd hold a 3 point gap assuming Max could win the rest.

Looks like Max has got his opportunity to fight for title and maybe McLaren will be more conservative in coming races with ride height making it easier for him to win.

All McLaren had to do is concentrate on being legal, nothing special needed for Lando to win. They are repeating 2007 mistake of taking unnecessary risk with nothing to gain, hopefully they can still make it over the line. Red Bull upgrades might now play a factor if they end the season with the quickest car.

Huge momentum shift if the DSQs happen. Would put all my money on max in this case.

They said they wouldn’t ask a driver to help his teammate until he was mathematically eliminated from the title race, but it’s going to be very hard not to ask Oscar now given recent form.

Interesting timing after the post-Brazil rumour of illegal skid blocks on some cars. Have they been cheating all along?

24 points in two races is still a mountain. I would love to see the tension get as high as possible, but still I don’t see Max doing this. He is the best, but there are limits.

24 points still means lando can finish behind both max and Oscar in the remaining sessions and still be champion.

Katar and Abu Dhabi should suit the McLaren better and not favour Mercedes a lot so it’s quite comfortable for lando but you never know. One more incident and everything can change again

Well deserved podium finish for Kimi, Charles is probably even more annoyed missing out.

I suppose this will make things more entertaining.

I wonder if McLaren can appeal it on basis measurements are going lower after original measurements, makes it sound suspicious. What is causing wear to happen afterwards if measuring device is accurate?

With a double top 10 in the revised race result Haas are now 7th in the constructors, ahead of Aston who are likely doing another management reshuffle.

If Horner joins Aston, will Newey stay? The big question to me. The McLaren DQ sucks imo, but if they keep their teeth clean next two races will be alright.

Whoa. I thought the issue would be with weight due to the low fuel.

It looks like they knew about the issue.

"Norris had been told to back off by McLaren in the final laps with a reported fuel issue, but confirmed that this was in fact due to managing the skid block wear."
