Magnussen will take the prize for the the driver who gets overtaken the most in this race....he just seems to keep going backward.

Finally, they mention the applause on Lap 19 for Hubert, who drove #19.

Not gonna lie, I got really confused there. I thought I was losing a bit more of my sanity.

Touching gesture, nevertheless.

Also, for the love of Enzo, pit LecLerc already!

Aand slow stop for Hamilton. Doesn't look like this'll be one to remember for him.

Also, with Bottas pitting, I've never noticed how shiny the new tires are.

Question is if they'll let LeClerc overtake Vettel or if they'll make him hold station.

Indeed, this race is now Ferrari's to lose.

I don't think Mercedes could've made it work either way. If they pitted Hamilton earlier, the Ferraris would've steamed past him eventually.

Position change. Ferrari had no choice there, I guess. Lewis is coming up. If they allowed Vettel to hold position, Lewis would have gobbled them up.

They started using a new manufacturing process this year, with a different mold, making new tires very shiny. They lose this shine almost instantly when driven on.

I didn't expect Vettel's pace to peter out so early. I guess all those laps after the undercut took a toll.

Vettel is now thinking the tires won't last to the end.

Well, I'll be damned. Learn something new everyday.

If Ferrari's smart, they'll use Vettel to hold up Hamilton a bit, as Vettel definetly doesn't have as much pace as previously.

Bottas catching both Vettel and Hamilton now.

Ferrari doing sensible strategy and not umming and ahhing about it for once, that makes a change

I would say keep Vettel out until lap 34, then 10 more laps on softs. Don't know if he has good softs left though

Vettel will likely pit again before the end to try and come back at Lewis and Bottas.

Boxed into a corner there. Pitted too early. Had to stay out to protect LeClerc.

Vettel's season is going further south.

He's not going to make the podium at this rate.

Going four off on fresh tires won't help, either.

This is Leclerc's race to lose. Assuming he keeps it clean, he will finally have that maiden win!

EDIT: Albon is also showing he's earned that promotion!! I like it.

Did Giovinazzi just overtake Gasly without DRS, while Gasly did have DRS?

Edit: And a great move around Ricciardo!

Looks like it. Pretty sure Gasly's still running his tires from lap ~13 or so.

And Gio overtook Danny Ric too! Where was this pace during the first half of the year?
