The Temple of Speed welcomes F1 as we are now well into the second half of the year, but for once, the Italian fans will have to choose their allegiance. Home of the tifosi, strong supporters for Ferrari, will they cheer if the red cars are behind the Italian superstar Kimi Antonelli, leading the championship and charge for Mercedes? Ferrari bring an updated power unit to the circuit always requiring maximum top speed, so with power being the issue the drivers have complained about, will this be the upgrade that gets Leclerc and Hamilton back into the championship picture? Hadjar is not rushing back after his wrist injury, so Lawson and Tsunoda stay where they were at Zandvoort. An intriguing time as McLaren have also entered the battle for race wins after two on the bounce for Lando Norris. Who knows what will happen at the ITALIAN GRAND PRIX!

Something very wrong will have happened to the red cars (so normal Ferrari strategy 🤡) if they are behind Kimi on Sunday. He'll be starting at the back after taking penalties for a new engine.

Hopefully this is one for the driver of a newly restored F40.

Speaking of which, said driver decided to Aura-farm like crazy upon arriving at Monza today.

The fact that Mercedes refused to make this dude their Brand Ambassador is still insane to me.

But what if Bortoleto or Bearman have the upset of the century?

That would be something. Bearman would become just the 2nd driver ever to win a race powered by a Ferrari that isn't in a works Ferrari. The first time that happened was also at Monza.

Okay... I think its time for us to turn off the Playstation and be serious.

I'm hoping we see some sort of excitement but it won't be due to rain. Going to be hot in Monza this weekend.

Cool Akira reference on the last photo!

Alonso deserves a better car than this Aston Martin.

I always groan with disappointment if there is rain forecast now, they just dont race in those conditions anymore.

Hello Alpine 👀

The lap times are so close, if that continues in Q3 then anyone in there can get pole if they get a good tow.

What it just me or Alpine is doing better in Monza? And also, Lewis almost eliminated in Q2 by his skin of his teeth.

Building slippery cars for years to make up for crappy engines has finally paid dividends.

Wow, Gasly this is shocking.

Gasly and Alpine on P1

Excuse me what, where did that come from??

Wow, well done Gasly and Alpine, what a lap.

I seen that this is the 100th time that Stroll has been knocked out in Q1.

Bravo to Pierre for his first career pole. Quite a way to bounce back from the Monaco podium debacle.
Feels we're about to see a lot of yo-yoing tomorrow

Would that make him the first driver to do that? Surely most drivers who drop out early that often tend to have much shorter careers 🤔

Edit: checked some stats and yes, he's the record holder on q1 eliminations

That Qualies was shocking!

Well done Gasly & Colapinto!

Wow, what a result for Gasly!

Decent result for Oscar. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Unsurprisingly Piastri has received a 3 place grid penalty for impeding Lawson

Since Lollipopman Comics no longer do race review after the Dutch GP, I decide to post their short-form video for now.

Helps when your father wants to fund your career and doesn't care about results.

Was anyone else screaming at the TV director to show Gasly. I swear this is the second time in two races that the feed I want to see has been in the little box.
