I know they were, but it's a matter of where the rest of the field was. If the rest of the field only crossed the end of lap line, the last sector would be equal for everyone (end of lap 1)
They were still on the track completing lap 2.

They were still on the track completing lap 2.
Lap 2 wasn't completed though. By the rules, if the red flag came out before they crossed the first timing line, the order would be reverted back to the end of lap 1, which still had Ricciardo and Piastri driving in the field.

But it seems they at least crossed the first timing line (and possibly more), meaning that's the point which the order was reverted to, which didn't include Ricciardo and Piastri, so in that case it's all correct

That's confusing. Don't you normally have to unlap the whole field?
It sometimes shows time to the car in front, where Ricciardo is less than a lap behind Hulkenberg, so it doesn't show +1 lap but the time difference.
Sometimes it shows time behind leader, where Ricciardo is still shown as a lap behind.

Odd that Leclerc is not shown as OUT at 20th he retired first

I think it's because neither he nor Albon crossed the first timing line, meaning it reverts to starting order, which had Leclerc in front (despite never making it to the start line).

Magnussen probably just about rolled over it.

Yuki is going for the Mercs too.

Edit

25 laps for Russell on used softs. Good luck with that.

Edit 2.

Used softs for Lewis too.

Well Mercedes did say they got the set up wrong yesterday. They set the car up to go backwards rather than forwards.

One would think Perez would try some new lines.
Maybe copy Alonso on the way he exits the last corner.
