I didn't like the sprint qualifying race setting the grid for the main race, but this format somehow seems worse.

My 5 second solution - Use Q3 to set the grid for the sprint, and the full session for the main race. We don't need two separate qualifying sessions.
 
This sprint format is soo bad that I don't even want to watch it! How the teams signed off on it is beyond me.

Yuki also hit with a 5-second penalty. 2 cars hit with track limits penalties, and we're not even a third of the way through.

Sounds fair to me, he has been out of track limits for a few minutes now
