That VSC was pathetic from Sai, Ham, Nor and Very. Another example of why a speed limited FCY is infinitely safer and easier than the VSC.

Rules need to change so Safety Cars stop being treated as strategic by teams and drivers, and we go back them being there for Safety.

Both Max and Lewis getting side by side. Does the rule for a full SC (cannot be alongside) apply to VSC, anyone know?
I don't think it does. In Max' case it's a bit of a special case anyway as Norris just slammed the brakes in a dangerous way (Max also shouldn't have been accelerating that much yet, though)

Hamilwhoops.

Also lol, he's now on the same bit of track as...

Time for Ferrari to make it or break it. Hamilton might need to pit immediately.

Why no FIA action on Hamilton at this point? They gave Kmag the meatball for less.

Edit- irrelevant since he pit now.

I wouldn't want to be Tsunoda later, bringing out a safety car right after Verstappen had his pit stop to try undercut Norris.

An entire grid of cold slicks for this restart. Will we get another SC within a few laps then?

Damn, this is becoming a race of attrition at this point. 6 cars already out, and it has only just passed the halfway mark.

All slicks though, with puddles still littered all over the track. Danny Ric chose the softs, might have better luck warming them up as opposed to the mediums.
