Not that I know of the track, but when I poked around the Moscow ePrix's Twitter feed, I saw some pretty nice pictures of the Moscow course and its surroundings. Here is a look at the course to be run around Moscow, Russia:

This should be very interesting. Good luck to all drivers and teams this weekend racing in Moscow.

I am really interested in how the second season of Formula E will play out. More involvement from manufacturers and other constructors will mean this series will show further evolution and development. I want Formula E to succeed. Still do. Interesting find there, Brutaka.

One note before I close this post... you can criticize Formula E negatively for any number of reasons. However, you can't take away that at the end of the day... these are still race car drivers, this is still hard-fought racing, and this is still a great platform for evolution not only in motorsport, but perhaps even automobile technology as well. I still have enthusiast-level love for Formula E and what all it brings to the proverbial table.

Short, but sweet! That Moscow ePrix is going to be quite a doozy for these drivers and teams. Seems like this course should be taken on by a few more different series. Maybe even the FIA World Touring Car Championship should take on this course. Sure hope the race is as interesting as this course.

Ha!

The winner of the Moscow ePrix was Nelson Piquet Jr. When I looked up pictures of this track, this is a beautiful looking track. It is almost kind of like what Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport would have you race in Moscow.

Up next... all good things must come to an end- the final race of the championship is the London ePrix on the weekend of June 27-28. Somebody will make history as the first champion of the FIA Formula E Championship. Who, though? We'll find out in London!

Hopefully Saturday in London will be dry, and put the top 3 on extremely close points, and then on Sunday it should chuck it down with rain (we haven't had a wet race yet) and be a proper awesome race for the championship.

TBH, as long as I get a Formula E car to play with, I don't care what happens.

I am not sure if I mentioned this or not, but I once read an article on motorsport.com about how the talent in Formula E is comparable to F1. Then again, a lot of the drivers in Formula E are ex-F1 racers. So it isn't like these are a bunch of rookies with no experience whatsoever in major international racing. Hearing/Seeing names like Sakon Yamamoto and such have me saying, "hey! He/She was in Formula 1." People who would criticize the Formula E would probably say these were a bunch of has-beens who couldn't cut the mustard in F1. To me, this is a very nice assembly of talent to race these Formula E cars.

As an off-topic note, I downloaded the Formula E mod for rFactor this past weekend. I now have a little simulated feel of how the cars perform and sound. They are fairly nimble machines and get up to speed pretty well based on this mod. I think I remember even announcer Bob Varsha talk about how powerful these cars are at accelerating. Then again, how many open-wheel machines AREN'T nimble? If you want poor-handling open-wheelers, you'd probably look at modified stock cars or those thunder roadsters. These Formula E cars are going to get better. I see no way that the FIA and the various teams put in all this money and all this hype just to let everything go to waste or not further develop these machines. This series has a future and has loads of appeal. Have to see how much the development goes if you give Formula E about 3-5 years. If it lasts about 10 years, then we'll really note the progress of the series and its success.

That's all. Looking forward to following the London ePrix.

For you British viewers, Saturday's quali and race is being broadcast on ITV4, while Sunday is on ITV1 and ITV HD

Odd, but thanks for letting me know 👍

Side note: their advert for it is pretty good, Derezzed and some great visuals.

I would rate the Talent comparable to WEC LMP1 and Indycar, its a very high standard.

I kind of read on Twitter that Jaime Alguersuari's FIA license is held up because of doctors orders. Fabio Leimer will take over for Alguersuari. This weekend is the final race of the inaugural Formula E Championship with the London ePrix.

Of course, good luck to all drivers and teams this weekend.

Overtaking looks like it'll be very unlikely at this track, a good Qualifying position will be important.

I can't believe there hasn't been a wet race yet in Formula E.
