There's only two good things about Beijing IMO, it's location around the Birds Nest stadium is fantastic, and also Nick Heidfeld seems to be really good there. Apart from them, the track is dull and lifeless, the racing is non-existent and smog doesn't exactly portray the eco-friendly image of the sport.

I don't see what's so wrong with it? Has a good variety of corners, long straights with hard braking zones, which should lead to good overtaking. Its a big improvement over last year's German ePrix track.

It reminds me a bit of Monza with the way some of the corners are shaped. I think it'll be alright.

I seem to remember something outlining regulations in the coming seasons, and I'm not sure where but it listed power trains as being either FWD or 4WD. Anyone have any info on this?

What you're thinking of is the Drivetrain. What they changed for this season is the gearing and the like.

Ah yeah, brain decided to not work.

And I mentioned it being for coming seasons as well as 2015.

Hey guys, new here, and noticed that the Mexico ePrix is round the corner.

I've never watched one, and would love to - but I can't seem to find out how to watch these things live.
If someone could enlighten me, would be appreciated!

Cheers

^^ Agree with both of you :)

Williams for instance would probably have gone for a white car with two thin orange/blue stripes

Check here for TV listings. ESport3 are showing it at 11am CET on Sunday in Spain, but its Catalan channel is showing it live at 11pm CET on Saturday.

Mexico Impressions.

The first chicane is terrible. It isn't an overtaking opportunity, it isn't pretty and it will be awful as turn 1. The oval section is cool, and the second chicane is wide and is sharp enough to be different from normal FE chicanes. The stadium section isn't the best, it'll be single file, but it looks soooo bumpy. The Peraltada chicane will get a victim at some point I'm sure.

This race in Mexico City is the first race of this season I am watching. It surely is unique seeing this action on a proper race track as opposed to city streets. Not that I have a problem with city street races. Of course, I am one of the ones who am intrigued on this series as a motorsports enthusiast.
