D'Ambrosio should be given a penalty for that, it was messy but the fact is that he overtook 3/4 cars off the road by deliberately cutting the chicane (the only one he had a right to be ahead of is Buemi who overtook him illegally).

Both should be penalised really, D'Ambrosio for cutting like that and Buemi for dangerous driving as he tried to let D'Ambrosio back through.

The amount of people cutting the chicanes was way to high! The race was pretty good overall, but that track was terrible! Compared to some of the other FE tracks, that was really dull. Sucks for Di Grassi, I thought he drove a pretty good race. Buemi definitely had a couple bone head moves. Not sure if Prost really deserved that penalty, although I guess he got 3rd now anyways.

Di Grassi needs to stop winning by more that 10 seconds because he just gets disqualified. Shame as he really looked like it meant a lot to him. D'Ambrosio wins his second FE race though, but he hasn't stood on the top step yet.

And both of D'Ambrosio's wins have been won the same way - finishing second on the road and promoted thanks to disqualification for Di Grassi!

Rules is rules, though it was in the second car that he took the lead and then bolted... Maybe the extra weight gave him more grip?

Something that's bugged me for a while, does anyone know why Nico Prost had a scored dropped last season?

I can't see why they haven't joined sooner, especially seeing as BMW provide the medical and safety cars for FE.

Absolutely gutted for Sam Bird 👎

Edit: aaaaand Bird under investigation, as is Heidfeld. Overuse of power.

🤬

I found the Paris e-Prix course to be pretty cool. Since Paris is one of my personal favorite cities in the world, it was great seeing Paris get some Formula E love. What I loved most from the TV coverage was that one view showing the city buildings along with some of the sweeping left-right corners. Kind of surprising the course is only 1.2 miles long. For us gamers, many of us are probably used to stuff like Opera Paris (Gran Turismo 4), George V Paris (Gran Turismo 4), Route de la Siene (Enthusia Professional Racing), or any of the action in Paris from Midnight Club 2.

It was a cool race to say the least.

Enjoyed the battle between Buemi and Bird, didn't enjoy Bird losing it under braking but overall, a good race.

Now we wait a whole month for Berlin.

It was a real pity we where denied the final few laps because of the safety car for Ma's crash. It was building up nicely up to that point.

I've heard very small rumors that they are trying to get Monaco to replace Moscow. Monaco was originally planned to be a biennial event.

^I wonder why they want to cut out Moscow.

Does anyone else think the proposed IndyCar Boston GP track would work for Formula E?

Politics.
The boston track might work, it'll probably be one of if not the biggest track they visit but with the Boston GP being cancelled I doubt FE could get it either.

It annoys the crap out of me that the city is against it. It'd boost revenue in an area that is slowly becoming re-populated.

Boston would need to be substantially redesigned. It was developed for IndyCar, so it would be twice as long as a regular Formula E circuit. It would just suck the life out of the batteries.
