Tried all tracks, they're all lovely :embarrassed: Now the problem is that, as of now, these tracks have no "purpose", but there's an easy fix for that..........

Where's the Multiplayer, 3dClouds ? :grumpy:

I thought they were meant to be integrated into the existing championships? But they don't seem to be at the moment.

Now I REALLY need to play catch up... I just got the game and haven't even finished the 50s championship.

Now I REALLY need to play catch up... I just got the game and haven't even finished the 50s championship.
I've had the game sitting in my Steam library since I bought it maybe 3 weeks ago. I haven't installed it yet. I still don't have a controller or a gaming chair to sit on the floor to play it with. I plan on trying to get that tomorrow if I can.

Ok I got it installed, got the controller, played just a little bit this evening.

On PC some of my issues are, once your pitstop is completed, how do you leave the box? It looks like you're supposed to squeeze both triggers and I did see one Youtube video saying that was supposed to be how you drove off but when I did it nothing happened.

How do you cycle through the camera positions? I drove in chase cam but I see where you can also be in the cockpit. Is that something you have to set pre race?

This is my first time ever using a controller on PC. I couldn't get to a menu without pressing the Xbox logo button but when I did it brought up multiple menus and I had to go back to the mouse to close them out. Is there a way to program the "hamburger" button to pause and bring up the options?

Also when I was trying to power off the controller, somehow holding down the Xbox button like I used to with the console, triggered the auto magnifier function on the PC and zoomed the screen in 200%. It took me a long time to figure out how to restore it to normal view and I really got panicked when that happened. So how are you supposed to power off the controller?

Is there a way to turn off variable weather and rain and just run in the dry all the time?

That's all I can think of right now in my short 30 minutes or so playing it but I'm sure other things will come up.

The only thing I can compare it to is Circuit Superstars and I think Formula Legends is going to be more difficult for me to pick up quickly.

The Formula E DLC is pretty sweet :sly: although I really need to learn the new tracks before trying to do the new championships on Hard mode :P

One little that they added is the possibility to choose your opponents in the races, on both main game and Formula E :D This is of course limited to the categories that contain more than 7 teams :)

If you just want to run a single race, can you change the race rules like you can before a cup series? Or is it that you have to run with the default rules for that class? I ask because each time I just want to run a single race I don't see that opening menu where you can toggle things off and on like before a cup starts.

Yeah this is really good. I'm enjoying it, it's like a whole new game using the Formula Legends basis, for like £6, can't argue with that at all. It's fun. The cars are easy to control but the races are really quite intense even on easy/medium initially, it all feels 100 times more like actual Formula E than anything that came before (in Forza or Project Cars 3 anyway) and the tracks are great, attention to detail superb.

Struggling to make my battery last for a whole race so far though!!

Love this game. I played the initial demo on ps5, but I couldn't enjoy the handling. The updated that and that made me buy it. The dem had the new handling so I could test it.

Love the progression and all the names they created for the drovers. But man, is schumacher a long ways back to unlock

Keep an eye open on May 28th; it seems that more free stuff is coming :sly:

Meanwhile I leave you with this: I made it months ago, when Very Hard wasn't that hard, but anyway I hope you'll enjoy this little video of mine ! :D

The new teams names are killing me (except the first one, I cannot recognise it):

Simtek/Skitech

Super Aguri/Super Turbo

Pacific/Ocean

B.A.R./P.U.B. (I'm italian, so I get the pun)

In other news........Alessio Zanaro :(:(:(

Edit: The first one might be Surtees/Surprises :dopey:

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I had more fun with 4PGP.

I like that game's art style better, the handling was tighter, and the fictionalized versions of real tracks didn't feel as short.

But Legends is still fun and I hope the game continues to improve and add content.

New track - modern Imola coming next Thrusday.

I've got to figure out how to change the camera view. I hit pause, then change camera or whatever it's called, save it, exit out and the view has returned to the default long chase position. So I don't understand how to make your camera change to take effect when you go back to the game.

I want to see if getting the camera closer to the car might ease the little bit of motion sickness I get in the long view. It might make it worse but I at least want to try.

Having fun but also struggling - why are the AI so damn quick? Think I need to start on easy mode until I learn these versions of the circuits.

Bought the track packs as well. I’ll leave the vehicle & season ones for now.

Does anyone know if they've integrated these circuits into any of the championships?

I bought the earlier pack with Malaysia in and it was a bit of a missed opportunity as you can only play it using a custom championship. I think I've only raced there once because of that.

Yep, do that; the difficulties have been tweaked from time to time and right now Very Hard (which was added later in the game) is literally filled with almost 13 Bowie_Knife 99

I'm leaving it on easy. I'm not that good at driving with a controller. On the rare occasion I've lapped an AI car I don't think that the blue flag actually means anything. It seems the AI car actually wants to race you again instead of getting out of the way.

All the new tracks are lovely :embarrassed: but beware of the curbs on Classic Imola, especially on one point............they're less curbs and more launching pads
