Forza 6 News Incoming?

If they're still going by a biannual development cycle, then we should get a new Forza game in Q4 2015... And the Detroit Auto Show would be a good time to confirm that they are working on it, they got a new partner (to go with Audi, McLaren, Lamborghini and Ferrari) and they're going to put a new cool car from them on the cover (which would also be consistent with the criteria by which they've choosen the cover of their games since Forza 3).

So... I want to believe. One ticket for the hype train please!

EDIT: The GT350 would be the perfect cover car for the limited edition, too.

I'm starting to think about getting XBone instead of PS4. If it wasn't for the cheaper price for PS4. I'm getting more doubt that PD can put the cool cars in GT7 because microsoft getting all the good exclusives.

Actually, Turn 10 holds exclusive licensing rights for Ferrari, but have renounced from blocking other racing games from having these cars because it would hurt the whole racing genre. As a matter of fact, the only non-Ferrari car on which they had a particular licensing agreement was the McLaren P1... And look how many games are featuring it.

I'm still hopeful that GT7 won't be a disappointment. And I'd probably stick with it regardless, as long as it keeps being GT.

Oh i see. But still, that doesn't stop PD for not putting the modern cars that matters.
 
Reading the comments, apparently there's a content update next week for Horizon 2? News to me.

It's not only that T10 has a far better and more appealing selection of cars in their titles (even though the numbers are smaller but who cares), their game is a lot better too. Sounds, career mode, gameplay, races, online features and customization are all better done than what PD is putting on the shelves in the last years.

So if you really want a console for the best racing experience; Xbone wins IMO with all the exclusive Forza titles and the possibility to add multiplatform racers like GRID and PCARS to your selection also.

Yeah no joke, i tried FM5 yesterday at a local game store and it was great how the cars feel a lot more alive than GT6 was (actually the cars in GT6 still feel robotic, thats the term i'm using).

While i'm thinking of buying Xbone, i grew up with PS so i'm feeling a bit awkward if i change my console to Xbox, plus my friends are all getting PS4 so it's gonna be lonely if i get Xbone lol
 
Yeah, i was a bit surprised when the triggers vibrate the first time the car drove on the drainage on the side of the road or when you brake with the ABS off
 
Just hopeful they fix the terrible FFB that was in Forza 5. The Thrustmaster TX is a good wheel on the PC but just feels dreadful in FM5. That FFB deadzone around center is truly something awful. Even though Horizon 2 uses the FM5 engine, they managed to fix the FFB to a great degree and the deadzone around center is mostly gone.
 
It should not be long before we hear about Forza 6. I am sure it is releasing at the end of this year. I just hope it is miles better than F5. Also hoping for night day and weather. Along with A LOT more cars and a lot more tracks. Hopefully they also bring back the storefront and Auction house.

Loving FH2, was very disappointed with F5. F4 was one of my favorite of the series.

I guess we will also find out - in about a 1 1/2 hours - what's this mysterious "Xbox announcment". But the theory that it will be a new Forza Motorsport game with this twin-turbo V6 carbon-fiber beast on the cover (served with a side of GT350R and Acura NSX) seems plausible. SO HYPED.
