Similar to the TAC's run on Gran Turismo & Assetto Corsa, the Forza 6 TAC will be a 10 round (or more if there's enough interest) series where players are given a car & track combination and have 5 days to set the fastest possible time. Round 1 will go live on the 10th of May

Points System:
1st: 10 Points
2nd: 8 Points
3rd: 6 Points
4th: 4 Points
5th: 2 Points
6th: 1 Point

I don't know if I'm missing something but which track is to be run?

From the picture uploaded I can deduce that it's Rio Full/Mountain unless that picture does not relate to the combo, as I see it's just a picture from Kudosprime.

Sorry, track is now in OP, it's Silverstone National.
 
I ran some laps earlier in the DB5, not the fastest car in this division but I already had one tuned for a Silverstone GP race so made a couple of small adjustments and it works pretty well here.

I used the Mazda RX-7 '97 and did a 01:00.404. There weren't any 5 star tunes so I just picked one take it to C500 sadly the car felt horrible. I am horrible with tuning so I am not going to bother doing it myself, I'll just copy Lukas' car/tune when he posts hist time. :P

I used the Mercury Cougar, I did a 1:44.434. I hope that it's a competitive lap time.

Edit: I did a 1:43.7xx dirty, so I should be able to find a lot more time. Also on the "clean" side I got a 1:44.299. Apparently I'm 6 seconds off pace from the top of the leaderboard :embarrassed:. Seems pretty embarrassing to have this much time difference in such a short track.

Edit: 1:43.414 in a Ford XB Falcon. Room for improvement? Definitely.
Edit #2: Improved to a 1:42.913 using the same car. Doubt I can squeeze much more out of this car.

I just did a 1:41.889 still with the Cougar. I might try a different car now. I'll post a screenshot of the lap later.

Edit: @JASON_ROCKS1998 I checked my Xbox DVR and I can't find the screenshot of the laptime I did with the Cougar, the time is still there on Rivals can I screenshot the leaderboard time and use that to submit it or do I have to get another laptime?

Alright this is strange, I checked my Xbox because I was sure I had taken that screenshot and it was in my Xbox it just never uploaded it to Xbox DVR. I took a photo of it with my iPad so here it is.

This happened to me too, very recently. My Horizon 2 captures show up in XBOX DVR but none of my FM6 ones do.

Damn, I misread @ImaRobot 's time. I thought he had only done a lap 0.3 secs faster, it was 1,3 secs quicker! ImanIdiot haha, no way I'll get that, I'll still try and see how much closer I can get if any.


Edit: I got close but wasn't enough, did a 1:40.713

Doesn't it suck when you get beaten by such a small time difference? :D

I'm sure if you would had more time you'd have beaten it. I did try to beat GT's time but I only managed to do a 1:40.200 I'm dead tired and sleepy so I'll leave it at that. Anyway thanks for playing it made it really thrilling, last week I won because I was the only one that posted a time, lol. Stick around for the next rounds.

Thanks! I went out in a Firebird I whipped up and followed your lap and I couldn't work out how you would carry so much more speed into and through the corners when the car looked so sideways, so I grabbed the car and tune you were using.
Took me a while to get the hang of it but it was fun!
