Forza 7 Thumbnail Leaks

I’m definitely starting to think these are FH4 hints. The oddball nature of some of them (P50, Bond DB5) seems to be perfect for either barn finds or showcases. I imagine the DB5 would fit the latter. Also makes sense how the remaining ones are some British legends like the Speed 12 and XR3i. What better a way to represent your game’s setting than to start throwing in some of their iconic products?

Either way, I’m now fully banking on FH4 being in the UK now.

Did you spot anything with regards to tracks in the latest game files? I saw on twitter someone saw references to Willow Springs, Fujimi Kaido and another track in the game files. They also spotted all of those leaked cars you found as well.

I found some placeholder names, but what you saw on twitter will have been someone misquoting me (as usual).

I did find Fujimi in the files but they were clearly a leftover from FM4 as it has the old style track map and direction arrow. If Fujimi was confirmed then we can also confirm Sunset Peninsula as that was also in the files - in other words, ignore what you’ve seen about Fujimi.

Willow Springs is a misquote again, I’ll mention that below.


The substantial findings were placeholders for Bristol Speedway, Willow Park (not Springs), and just “Zoo”. Again they could be leftovers, testing tracks (for PI generating), or just plain scrapped developments.

All three tracks have placeholder logos which is simply a pink box with the name written over it, but Bristol actually has a placeholder poster whereas the others don’t, suggesting it is or was further in development, but remember that doesn’t confirm anything.

Placeholder posters are just a picture of an existing FM7 track (Catalunya) with the track name over it - this is what Bristol has that the others lack.

EDIT: The placeholder image is Catalunya, not an Italian track.

The Ford Escort and MGB are the only cars up there I would like to see in FM7, but I'm not prepared to spend more money on the game or Turn 10 in general. Instead I hope my requests for a UK-based FH4 are being answered, but I won't get my hopes up too high. These leaks have a history of being rather vague, but at the same time not entirely off the mark.

I hope the Senna will arrive in FM7, not Horizon. That beast belongs to the track. But i wont get my hopes up too soon. Remember that 917K leak in FH3? Still waiting for that car.

The 917K that was leaked may have been earlier in development than the Senna, as for memory the file didn’t have any in game components available yet. Here with the Senna we have a game model, so I think we may be waiting less for the Senna than we have since the 917K leak.

I'm still of the opinion that we'll get the 917 in FM7. There are still, what? five or six DLCs yet to release before FH4 hits?

To be honest, I can't. If memory serves me right, every cover car since FM6 has been an unannounced car in real life, revealed officially along with the game. Since the Senna is already public knowledge I'm not sure if it'd be a cover car.

I wouldn't count on more than two or three car packs, but I agree that the 917 K is still a possibility. The most irresistible eggs in the basket usually begin to appear when the Car Pass ends.

The classic Ford Escort also makes me wonder if we're ever going to see the road car equivalent to the Zakspeed Capri. This generation was a significant model on the UK market.
 
Dude. McLaren Senna is at the top of my list of cars I want in GT Sport. I'm jealous. They better not have any exclusive rights crapola to it. I'll be so pissed.

Credit to Turn 10 for jumping all over the opportunity to get that car in their game. They really know what cars people want to drive for the most part. Though they are lacking in the open wheel department still, but really, who isn't?

Like @TheAdmiester said earlier, it's highly unlikely since Forza Motorsport/Horizon cover cars are cars that haven't been revealed to the public yet (With the exception of the 2013 Viper for Horizon 1). Since the Senna is already revealed, it probably won't be a cover car.

That really only started recently.

FM7 - Porsche 911 GT2 RS: Announced alongside game
FH3 - Lamborghini Centenario: Announced as cover car of "next Forza game" when unveiled
FM6 - Ford GT: Announced alongside game
FH2 - Lamborghini Huracan: The car was announced in March while the game was unveiled in June. I couldn't find an FH3 type announcement.
FM5 - McLaren P1: The car was unveiled in Sept. 2012 while the game was unveiled May of 2013.
FH1 - SRT Viper: Unveiled in June 2012, appeared in FM4
FM4 - Ferrari 458: Car was unveiled in 2009, game didn't release until 2011
FM3 - Audi R8 5.2: Car unveiled in December 2008, guessing the game wasn't announced until June 2009.
FM2 - Nissan 350Z: Started production in 2002, game came out 2007
FM1 - Acura NSX: Unveiled in 2001, game came out in 2005.
