Forza Customer Service... Terrible...

It's Fanatec customer service not Forza( referring to the title). Also you don't have a cell phone with a video camera? You also were complaining about how they just didn't send you a new model instead of repairing your broken unit although you said in the email that it would be alright if they could just repair it. Lastly, I don't think the shipping issue is Fanatec's fault. Perhaps it was an error on your or the postal office's fault. From what the Email says it seems to be a common problem of incorrect mounting and an easy fix. Am I missing anything?

I can't see them doing the wrong thing here. They're fixing it for you after all. You should be more patient they may be busy therefore not giving themselves enough time to get down to the parcel center.

I suspect they're asking all that information because they do have people that lie about doing the damage themselves.

Regarding replacing vs fixing it. They have every right to do this. It costs a lot less for them to fix something like this than send you a new wheel.

Also this thread has nothing to do with Forza... this disappoints me. I wanted a story about a game's customer service.

Really don't see the problem here.

Your product is defect and they offered to repair it. It's only natural that they ask you some questions before they assign a RMA.

What is exactly your point in starting this topic? And it's Fanatec not Forza.

I don't think its fair to deny me a repair or replacement based on
that fact... The wheel was designed to be hard mounted and the
instructions on bolt length weren't very clear... I tested the bolts
to make sure they fit as well... And they did...

That's comical. They simply asked you if you hard mounted it and to you that's denying repair or replacement?

What a waste of bandwidth this thread already is
