Got these three in a row with wheelspins I had built up.

Online roadtrips would have to be the most fun and easiest way to level up.

Congrats on the wheel spins and I agree, the online road trips rack up a LOT of money and exp. Especially if you are in a club. Also I am glad you are enjoying the game on the X1. Still one of THE most fun racing games I have played in many years.
 
So what happens at the Horizon Finale, I haven't got there yet but I only need 3 championship wins, is it a championship or a race around the map or neither??

It's a race around the map. I've done it in a Lancia Fulvia and an Alpine, and both times it took me just over 20 minutes. I'm sure you could cut that down with a faster car. Or make it last longer with a slower car. Take you VW Bus out for a roadtrip!

What's the payout? It was worth millions in FH1.

It's only worth about 50,000 to 100,000 cr depending on your assists, plus about 2 or 3 wheelspins you'll build up during the race.

If I'm honest, getting that much money with that many wheelspins for just driving around the map (which I'm always doing anyway) is absolutely awesome.
 
OEM tires on dirt is where FH2-360's physics shine, I think. Today, I went out of my way to do some drifting -- although available grip is very high for my liking, countersteering out of a drift seems more natural and satisfying than in FM1-FM4 or FH1. The front wheels might still be providing that magical corrective force from FM4/FH1 (as if a RWD car were AWD), but it has certainly been reduced.

If only I didn't need 400-500hp just to overwhelm the rear tires effectively...
 
Is it me or do the turbo sounds differ for each car. I love the escalade with twin turbos has a nice blow off sound.

^^That's not good news by any stretch; I thought the handling in H1 was already non-serious enough. And now it seems they're leaning even more towards the arcade handling scale?

Other arcade racing games don't have the depth of handling that FH1/FH2 have. There's more to it than how much grip is available. FH2 is a very well-tuned and intuitive experience, one of the best among non-simulation games, IMO.
 
Achievment help....Im trying to get the Achievment "win a race in every type of car" I cant remember what its actualy called..Anyway is there somewhere in the menus that will tell me what cars I have won races in already??...Cause there are a BUNCH of different types of cars

Go to "Progression", and then to "Championships". It's a pain in the ass but start off with the top left group and check each city. Then move the next one and check that championship group in each city. I thought i knew which one i needed and it ended up being two others also.

Thanx Ill look into that..So when I check each city, it will say "1/5"??...Because I remember seeing something like that...But all my city blocks have "new" in them...Its kinda confusing to me
