TBH I just can't be bothered, youtube is on my phone so film and post just makes it easier, plus it's literally only for you guys. I don't want to do the video al professionally in case I dethrone Rory at the top of GT7 youtube!

I was the same but it’s literally just linking your YT account to the ps just like Spotify etc and then using the record gameplay (share button) and a quick start/end trim the clip and press upload that’s it.

You know what, I read these messages and first I’m like, yay, race A looks a peach im heading there! Then I read sr killer and I’m like, Ooh, not sure about that one 😁 race B will put me up to DR A for a few days at least,

Then there another Soa TT to consider 😂😂

@Stringerbell I had to laugh at this one, sorry, just in case you didn’t know vids are super easy to create, 1) hold down your capture button and choose them amount of time you want to save upto a max of an hour, pres the ps button and it’ll be waiting there to open and heard toward the media centre, 2) choose edit and it will give you a start and end points and you can save as new or replace the hour block, 3) click share and you’ll need a linked YouTube account, here you can upload 4) head over to your videos on YouTube and click share and copy link 5) copy that link to your GTP post

You can also just rewatch some saved video and change the views etc, which I never can be r’sed to do, and just save that as recentl game play

Not even necessary to compromise too much. Just make sure their inside wheel can stay within track limits and the outside isn't forced into the dirt or slippy stuff. Watching @Tidgney or Rory gives you some good clues on racing etiquette.

You’re lucky with that mistake and losing it on the entry apex!

What I do from time to time is just not take the corner properly and I just (hanging on for dear life) scrape onto the green carpet crap on the left and I think a complete 720 this morning and into the pits I went to sit in shame 😂

@Gurzu @Uday9479 race B looks poo but gr4 may well save it! Race A my fingers are crossed for a lovely gem of a race

Best get some Spa in all weekend in case I’m out next week again

I hate when we go from great to garbage! This week has been awesome with Spa being the worst of the offerings. Mini Red Bulls are great fun to throw around that circuit and the Hypers at Watkins make for great racing and there's enough tire management available to have comers and goers type strategies.

None of the tracks next week have the same types of options :(

So hard to hit the optimal I find as it's just so twisty and turny that just a touch too hard into a corner or a touch late on the gas and the delta just seems to fly away!

Soooooooooooo annoying picking up a penalty on the first few corners isn't it, I've been picking them up in t1 and it's just infuriating.

Nice racing to get up to the sharp end, shame about the bin! if it makes you feel better I've ruined more than 60% of my races. The only ones I haven't is when I've ended up with a few seconds in front and behind, any time I've got cars behind me i bottle it!

Ah mate, I feel for you! I was so close to it a few weeks ago as I dropped into the top of SR C but clung on by my finger tips! Good luck getting back, should be a week or so of clubbing seals in the lower lobbies for you with your pace!

Thank you and @newmedia_dev for going into detail, that was why I posted as I didn't think I did anything wrong because I really stuck to the inside but thinking back to other overtakes, i don't think I pay much attention to the exit as I feel like the move is done. Good to know I need to focus on staying on my half of the track on the way out as well.

I seriously think the penalty system is broken. I’m happy 😃 to be corrected but why did I pick up a penalty for this? I hit no one, avoided all cars but was pushed into the barrier and got tw..ted from behind! 🙄🤠

It’s almost like ppl have only a ln accelerator and can’t lift it 🤣

I had this one earlier, got bumped into someone and got a 2sec pen at Spa, took me from 4th to 12th on lap 1 🤨

That looks like chaos I have to say

The person behind you came to a near stop after hitting you so the game perceived this as you gaining a big advantage and/or the other person losing a load of time from that last bit of contact

They hit me cos I was forced into a barrier. I’m pretty sure in real life (& I have been driving for 42 years) I would not have to worry about being in the wrong on an insurance claim! 🤣🤣🤣🤠

The game looks at shared impact not context.

That was a bit of a crap pen to be fair, its looking at what cars not what behaviour.

Unfair, but let us not gloss over how much chaos there was in the first 3 turns......people cant be surprised 4 years in surely.

Sigh.
 
I just don't care for the excuses anymore. All AI this and self learning that, data centres the size of small European nations set up in rural areas to power all this BS. Make it work, just fix it, tired of excuses. That video is totally ridiculous.

Regarding next week, I am a fan of NGP, I suspect it is Group 4. I do wish it was RWD only, AWD is a huge advantage at NGP and the AWD cars are already the meta.

Then I jumped on the alt account and again beat my main QT by a tenth or so, plan is to try get that account into A, however not sure if I can be bothered as I have 5k to do, did the two spa TTs and golded them, twiddling my fingers whilst the fam sleeps following the late night football 😁

So I got another alt account going, only because I’d like to keep my A status and also I’d like to just race a bunch of new ppl, my first alt account is at 25k so I’d hoped to do it with that but seeing as my boys Roblox is ps5 only now, so my missus had an old account which I should have used at the time when I got my first alt going, but here we are, I won’t bore you all with new friend requests, but leave open the possibilities for the future 😁

Well, loaded this account up to go through the annoying 9 menu books, which was made easier by the circuit experience easy money, but somehow, her account is registered to a USA address, so my 3rd account is American!

@NevilleNobody we are actually going to be racing each other at some point bro, for real 😁

It's very satisfying when you get one!

I have to say though, when I get a bad one, my patience does not stretch to the waiting game for the next race. I've never before switched off the game so often when faced with the giant 7:00 on my screen.

Nice to see you back where you belong mate! Hopefully see you in a few lobbies.

Maybe not this week though, I've had since Friday off and not got too much desire to race at the moment. Think I may have burned myself out relentlessly chasing time each week. Might take this week off and then come back and play more casually as been taking the fun out of it a little bit by putting so much pressure on myself to get a good quali and starting position.

Think I may limit myself to 1 or 2 hours a week of quali and then just race and if that's in B then so be it
 
Well the week is saved guys, that Pontiac is a real nice drive, just had a peach of a race, nice and clean I reckon there is some real racing to be had here this week, look how close this one was for 4th 😁

Bonus is I can’t lose my DR A status as there is no DR updates,
