Is that a Pagani Zonda R I see over there?

This is just my hat in the ring but I think you may have actually spotted a new car instead of the standard zonda r. The striping on the hood appears different from the regular zonda r and the body color seems like more of a dark blue, I’m wondering if this isn’t the zonda revolucion.

Should the list be amended to reflect that the Escort is specifically the London to Mexico rally car and not just the generic Escort?

Pretty sure it's the R. The street lighting may be inducing you in error. I don't see any blue, just carbon grey bathed in yellow street light. Also, the Revolucion's paint scheme has a very distinct red stripe that should be clearly visible:

I can, however, see the green markings of the Zonda R.

It should also be noted that these cars are customized by their owners, so there may be a Zonda Revolucion with a Zonda R paint finish. However, they are not represented, in-game, with these custom paint finishes, but with their reveal paint job. This means, you would have to have a red stripe for that to be a Zonda Revolucion.

That's actually the 1970 Ford Escort Mk. I rally car (the London to Mexico rally was held that year). Unfortunately it's a plain white livery as the car's livery might be conflicted with licensing.

I don't think this Galant is playable though. Look at this:
View attachment 1076478
The car is right alongside the player, yet no drivatar logo on the minimap.
I remembered that Forza Horizon 4 also had a traffic version of the Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 in the pre-release footage, but didn't appear in the retail game due to Mitsubishi's licensing didn't get renewed in time. Later on, only the playable version of the Galant appeared.

There were also traffic car versions of the Colorado, so I wonder if they're dropping it as a playable car this time (I hope not).

I honestly don't think the Colorado ZR2 is going to be dropped, as one of the official screenshots has it playable.

I'm going to make a strong statement, I know not everyone will agree with me... but my country (Mexico) is fast becoming a small SUV/CUV and SUV country, and while it's fine to have many of the great cars (past and present), I have to ask, where are the CUV's/SUV's? Here, all brands have them now. Speaking of M-B, where are the GL's? the new C and A classes? the CLA?

They've already unveiled the official names of all new Fords coming:

1967 Ford Racing Escort Mk1
2021 Ford Bronco (no "Badlands" moniker)
2020 Ford #2069 Ford Performance Bronco R
2017 Ford #25 "Brocky" Ultra4 Bronco RTR
2020 Ford Super Duty F-450 DRW Platinum

The omission I'm most bummed out about is the '55 300 SLR. What with the new on-the-fly stuff they've been showing off (like switching the One from street to track mode, or the convertible tops), I was hoping they'd integrate that big air brake. On the other hand, having a '55 Mercedes driving around in Mexico might've cut a little too close to home, considering that the '55 Carrera Panamericana had to be canceled after that year's Le Mans disaster (and Mercedes' role in it).

Shame we didn’t get the SLR back either depite Mercedes and McLaren probably being on better terms with each other with Merc as McLaren’s F1 engine supplier again starting this year.

It’s not like the SLR is completely forbidden fruit now- it’s in GT Sport, as well as several mobile games…

Edit: Didn’t think about the 300 SEL either. I would’ve also loved a 360 era Mercedes or two come out of the archive too. Pour one out for that S65…

Wait a sec...

The 1929 Mercedes SSK is listed as an SSK...

Does this mean we are finally getting SS back?!
IIRC the Bugatti EB110 SS was actually listed as such in its abbreviated, top-of-the-screen form in FH4 (How they missed that is anyone's guess.); that being said, I won't get my hopes up until I see an official screenshot or video of an old Chevy muscle car with the emblems present and accounted for.

You could be on to something, but that could also have been for space reasons and is in a place most people probably wouldn't notice and not conspicuous like the SS logos.

Then again the SSK could have been that way due to Twitter's character limit, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

AMG Hammer was not deleted. Yay!
SL65 Black Series was deleted. Damn.

I understand why the other Mercedes was removed, but not why the SL65 was removed.
Was it locked for a future playlist? Hmmm...

I understand they probably couldn’t show us a manufacturer with a lot of new vehicles unlike what they’ve already shown with Ford due to the partnership (something like toyota I’m sure is under wraps until just before release outside of the GR Supra reveal). But it seems like an interesting move to show off a manufacturer list which, besides the cover car, brings nothing new and features some noticeable omissions. I also would’ve thought Mercedes would have gotten some more love prior to this, I was reallllly hoping for that 300 sel but oh well onwards and upwards, I guess we’ll see what series rewards and dlc adds.

It’ll probably be back as DLC.

Meanwhile I've been waiting since the original Horizon for the S65 AMG to return, but it doesn't seem like that will ever happen. :nervous:

Agreed, the Forza Mercedes lineup on Xbox One era is missing a saloon.
Mercedes is not only a coupe brand, we need more saloons like in Xbox 360 era.

BTW, they did not add ML63 AMG to the game again.
Even though they added this car to the game in FM7, I still haven't had a chance to use it in Horizon...
