Glad to see the CLK-GTR returning, hopefully we get an option to swap a 7.3l V12 in this time as the model in-game is a SuperSport based on appearance.
and i hope it allow us to give it a proper race spoiler too. kinda like u could with the 2013 bentley continental gt (had its gt3 bodykit as a option)

Also the SL 65 AMG Black Series and the E 350 All-Terrain "Project E-AT". As for Mercedes-AMG, the GT S has also been left out. Sometimes I hate that in newer Forza games they leave the older model trims behind.
Although the E 350 All-Terrain "Project E-AT" being omitted is understandable, as Playground Games would have to get permission again from Top Gear in order to feature it in the game.

Interesting find from the official forum.
An SUV that appears to be an Audi e-tron Sportback has been spotted.

5 part Twitter thread.

You can do it in three - reply Tweets automatically include the Tweet to which they're replying, so embedding 1, 3, and 5 adds 2 and 4, like in the edited quote up there :D

Edit: And in your own edit

I fixed it as soon as I saw that would work. I'll note that in the future though.

I'm excited to see the Ute and Racing Puma come back. Also if this is how they are revealing the car list then I like it a lot.

Missing from FH4:

2018 Ford Mustang GT DeBerti Design
2018 Ford Raptor F-150 Deberti Design Pre-Runner
2017 Ford Fiesta WRC
1977 Ford #5 Ford Rally Escort MK2
1973 Ford XB Falcon GT
1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1
1966 Ford GT40 Mk II
1966 Ford Lotus Cortina
1946 Ford Super Deluxe Station Wagon

I expect there to be a lot of cars from FH4 missing. At least 120+ most likely. Painful but they can't port everything from game to game at launch.

DeBerti F-150 will probably be locked in the back of the playlist (I'm sick of it)
Because he once proclaimed on Instagram that Forza would be adding Tacoma, which he built. And since this car was not added in FH4, it is reasonable to assume that it will be added in FH5.
In other words, the licensing agreement between MS and DeBerti is most likely still in place.

XB Falcon and the ‘92 Falcon GT😥

And whatever happened to the Country Squire?

Also a shame that there aren’t any last-seen-since-360 era cars yet; this would’ve been a great time to bring back the T-Bird and the Pinto! (Though to be fair, there isn’t much from Ford that could still be picked out from the 360.)

And I honestly believed ‘wow, that’s it?’ when it was announced that the Broncos, Escort, and the F-450 would be the only new Fords in the game. I know I would be setting my hopes way too high but I hoped I’d be surprised with a GT90 and/or an Indigo in there.

Call me a pessimist, but I don’t think there’s much hope for many new cars or 360 era cars returning for the rest of the list. @willbsn13 is right, it’s a hard pill to swallow but it’s unlikely that everything from past games will come back, at least at launch.

The Ford Country Squire only appeared in Forza Motorsport 6, in terms of XBOX One-era Forza games.

Not so happy about any of the missing models, particularly the GT40 mkII, Mustang, and XB Falcon. However, I'm glad that several of the cars new in FH4 are getting another shot in this game (particularly the Racing Puma). The lack of returning models from earlier games, as well as the ones that are being cut, have been pretty painful so far, and we're only two manufacturers in.

I'm hoping some of these are added back at some point, but fun fact: besides FM6:Apex, this makes the first Forza game that the MkII GT40 won't be in at launch. I think that's pretty sad to be honest.

It's just the math at this point.

Let's say FH5 launches with over 550 cars (560, just like FH4's 460)

If we take out all duplicates (Forza Editions), Lego Cars, Barrett Jackson Cars, Hot Wheels Cars, Hoonigan duplicates and James Bond cars, we're still left with 688 cars from FH4.

So to even get to 560, we need to cut 128 cars. And that's not accounting for New to Forza cars in FH5 (of which there 14 already and I imagine there are more. Most likely 25-30 at least), potential XBox 360 era ports (could be a couple of these, maybe 5) and then you've got potential Forza Edition cars (which could be included in the 550 too).

So then you really have to cut more like 150+ vehicles. But it all comes down to that final launch number. The higher it is, the more leeway you have to not cut stuff.

As there been any mention of barn finds coming back? That could be another 10-15 cars not on the list

Judging by the ever increasing amount of cars present in FH4 that will be absent at launch, i'm safely betting that most of them will be coming back as DLC, while a fraction of them will return as seasonal rewards.

I swear these lists of car rosters per manufacturer before launch are like a rollercoaster of emotions for me.

Barn Finds are back, but it is unclear if these are on the launch list or not. I'm going to go with yes to be on the safe side
