They need MiniGT and Tarmac Works 1:64 models, unreal compared to Hot Wheels, buy a car in the real world get it in game anyone?

Anyway, looks like it was all on console, since it doesn't have RT in the footage just some clever tricks, pretty impressive there then.

As I have observed, currently FM can do RTGI at 1440p above 60 fps with high visual settings if DLSS is set to performance with the preset M on Nvidia's app (40- and 50- series cards ideally). Let's see if they implement ray tracing like they did for the Series X.

If the estate is big enough I might just build Tsukuba in my back yard.

Garage would definitely have a photo space for taking screenshots.
If you do build it, can you also do a tri-oval variant of it?

I cooked up a list of what the car list may look like at launch based on what I think is likely to make the cut. Even after 3 passes trimming things down, I'm still at 750. While I think 550 is perfectly reasonable at launch, I have a feeling there are going to be some painful exclusions this time around, just as in Horizon 5.

I'm sure many will pop up eventually, but considering some heavy-hitters never made it to FH5 after all the drip-feeding, I think this is going to be a big sticking point for some.

Horizon (especially recently) has done such a good job balancing new, mainstream additions with older oddball and cult-following cars. With modern car culture embracing a lot of cars in that latter category, I'd imagine it will become more and more difficult to add cars that will appease everybody.

Here’s a playlist I made for you.

if you like YUI you should check Flower Flower, a band she had made in 2013 and it is still active, Subarashi Sekai was how i came to know her
Ooohhhhh looking forward to hearing this 👍
i am looking around my old music archives and trying to get the songs together, as soon i finsh i will post here and in a new thread to discuss japanese music fitting with horizon, shouldnt took that long to be honest

I assumed a lot of cuts would come to the Australian cars that had been in the series since FH3, but I saw a '77 Torana in the previews and those models probably make more logistical sense in a Japanese setting than the UK or Mexico anyways. So who knows.

Anyways, catch me up in Daikoku with this booming out of the speakers of a souped-up Kenmeri.

I wouldn’t mind if Hot Wheels cars aren’t in the game for a while, they tend to break the meta a bit.
I have a feeling some Hot Wheels cars might still be in the game, however, a Hot Wheels expansion may not be plausible for FH6 as there's Tomica, should they still go for a toy-themed expansion.

GT7 had "Tomica Town" scapes, for reference.

Looks like Hoonigan isn't off the table

Probably not Hoonigan but more likely Block House Racing, which is the "team" the family members built shortly after Ken's passing. They still use the Hoonigan branding on the cars for legacy purposes, but are not affiliated anymore, if I understood correctly.

Edit: It would appear Lia is doing rally for Rockstar Energy drinks this year, which is distributed by PepsiCo in Canada/North Korea II, whereas her dad and Hoonigan were sponsored by Monster, which is/was distributed by Coca-Cola. I'm pretty sure you can kiss the Napalm Nova, Twerkstallion and 55 Bel-Air goodbye, but the Block/Monster cars might make it back if we're lucky.

Yeah its going to be rough.

In defense of PG, it's not like they are specifically "removing" these cars.

All cars need updating to bring them into FH6. Whether that's physics, QA or implementing new features like paintable windows etc. That takes time. It's quite a balancing act, and they've also got to get a decent level of new to forza content in at launch too (plus remodel some of the old problem models), which will take resources away from porting all of the FH5 content etc.

I'm sure a bunch will make it back during live service, some won't. But we'll also get a bunch of great New to Forza cars in there too.

If they can keep adding cars at a similar rate as FH5, it won't be long for us to get close to those numbers again, with better features too.

Ideally I'd have liked over 75% of Fh5's final car list (over 700).

I don't mind them adding back the cars as long as they add more new to forza cars than returning cars consistently, while also removing FOMO.

I hope they maintain all (or most) DLCs being new to Forza. Iirc only the 911 SC and the GT3/GTE/Touring cars were not new to Forza.

I don’t know if this is the same person or not, but someone posted a YouTube video showing every single step.

Still impresses me the things people can make in the Forza livery editor. I always feel like I'm smashing two rocks together trying to make anything in it.

That reminds me, I wonder if there are any other livery editor improvements to go alongside the window stickers. Ideally we'd also be able to put vinyls over trimpieces like chrome and such (lowrider with gold chrome trim, anyone?), but I think we'll have to wait a few more horizons for that.

Really hoping they announce that let's go style stream soon, as I'm intrigued.

Agreed on all points. FH5 did a great job of adding new to Forza cars in the playlist too - I think it ended up being close 70 cars being new to Forza in the playlist alone which is really good.

Regarding FOMO, that is the million dollar question. Here's hoping PG make a meaningful change there.

It's currently the most voted topic under Economy/Progress in FH6's Suggestions Hub, and I was the one who brought it up.

I hope the track editor will have increase prop memory and increased event distance.

I think currently if I add 3 house prop sets by my track I reach 60%-70% easily and that the current route limit is 64.4 KM/40 Miles.
This so much and also the 5 event/track limit.

Like I created 5 tracks in event lab and now I cant save any more unless I replace one of my 5 I already made since 5 is the limit you can save.

I would like to see the list. I have some cars from Forza Horizon 5 that I would feel gutted if they aren't included in Forza Horizon 6 at launch.

  • 2010 Aston Martin One-77
  • 2010 BMW M3 E92 GTS
  • 2012 Eagle Speedster
  • 1999 Ford Racing Puma
  • 2014 Ford FPV Pursuit Ute Limited Edition
  • 2013 Jaguar C-X75
  • 2016 Jaguar F-Type Project 7
  • 2018 Jaguar XE SV Project 8
  • 1976 Volkswagen SP2

Sadly, I don't foresee the SP2 making the cut. It was exclusively marketed to Brazil, iirc, and a lot of the "regional only" cars may not make into to FH6
