I have to agree on not wanting a HW and/or LEGO Expansions, they were fun back on its day, but Horizon 6 claims for something new, fresh, and...something that connects with the location, people have been expecting Japan for the longest time, so if the expansions happen to be a cheap tie-in with any brand that would work on literally any location in the planet, it's definitely a big miss.

The LEGO collab worries me since a 3rd Hot Wheels expansion would be a joke at this point, but...a 2nd LEGO expansion is definitely something I can see happening, to make it even with HW. We'll see...
Yeah, I'd much prefer to see content that relates to the location. Neither LEGO nor HW interest me tbh.

Just in general I’d really like to know how the community feels about drifting in FH, because the only time I read about it is when people complain about it.

Hate it personally. Mostly because it’s not about pulling off cool drifts around corners, but waggling around on straights like a moron.

So my impression is the focus they put on drifting is maybe not really justified.
I agree that the straight parts of drift zones are a pain and the dirt/gravel drift zones are a pain too. I like drifting IRL and I drift for fun in free roam. I do actually enjoy the drift Stunt Parties since there’s an incentive to not only get a high score but also to get them done quickly instead of dragging them out to squeeze in as many tiny drifts as you possibly can. I feel like they could increase the point bonuses for drifting at higher speeds, although I do find myself getting 3 stars and/or setting personal records for drift zones during Stunt Parties on occasion, so maybe I’m just doing the drift zones the wrong way when I drag them out and do lots of small drifts.

On tarmac I actually quite enjoy it, it helps a ton if you get a nice drift-formula car from wheelspins to do the drift zones (I got the Ferrari from one early doors and it was a 9/10 straight out of the box). It doesn't take forensic-level tuning to cook one up from scratch either, so much so I'm making a selection for online drift championships although that's due in part to grievances I have with standard play sessions (that'll be for another post).

The dirt road drift zones on the other hand can absolutely do one, it was such a chore getting those done.
