Ginetta is about 4-6% slower after the update.

From a meta perspective it may as well go in the bin.

Based on my testing the grip seems about the same as before, so it looks like Playgrpund targeted power or drag.
That's genuinely excessive, in my opinion. Make it more in line with the other competitors in B-class but don't obliterate its viability over folks exploiting its unnaturally high performance.

Either way I don't really see the Ginetta coming back in the Playlist for a while, just to give the new meta time to settle in.

Giugiaro really had a hand for these hatchbacks in the 70s and 80s, the VW Scirocco, Golf, Polo, Fiat Panda, Uno, Lancia Delta and more were designed by him.

Basically the who's who of Euro-hatchbacks in the 70s and 80s
Also speaking of Japan, Giugiaro have designed two of a certain brand I hope we see in Horizon: Isuzu. Giugiaro, under Ghia, he tailored the 117 Coupé (Heavy inspired by the Fiat 2000/2400 Dino Coupé) and when in 1970's founded Italstile, later Italdesign, he have created three concept, one of them, the Asso di Fiori, became the Isuzu Piazza in 1981.

And there's another car in leaked files who have Giugiaro's style... the Mazda Luce R130 ;-)

For classic, plain glasses lovers, they finally added Clear Classic Shades in the buyable glasses category! I'm finally gonna be able to have a full-on relaxed gamer/nerd/geek/bookreading character look!

That's of course the Panda Supernova 4x4by Steyr Puch!

Seeing the 1987 Fiat Panda in the latest list brought a huge smile to my face, but I know that to people outside Italy, it might just look like an ultra-basic, slow, utilitarian cardboard box on wheel... but here in Italy it's a huge cult ;-)
Now that we’ve got the Panda, let’s show the Uno to the world! We want the Uno Turbo i.e. in Forza Horizon 6.

Hope the Abarth Biposto swap becomes available for the Panda.

Also keen to get the Biposto itself and fit the 1.6 VVT, which is presumably the Civic Type R's engine?

We're never getting an EG Civic are we?

I like the two new tracks. Nicely challenging.

Thoughts on the new cars:

2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio. It’s been in the last five Motorsport games, but Horizon only got it for 2. ★★★☆☆

2025 Citroën Ami. I can’t wait to give this one a go. Interesting that PG lists this tiny BEV as coming with a 2.0 liter inline 4. I’m sure it’s an upgrade option. And that widebody kit is 🇫🇷👩🏽‍🍳💋. ★★★★★

1987 Fiat Panda. A true “new to Forza” car. This is going to be so much fun. ★★★★☆
IMG_5976.webp

2025 Ford Mustang GTD. I know very little about this car. Not really my cup of tea, but you never know. 815 bhp and RWD should make for some entertaining driving. ★★★☆☆
IMG_5978.webp

1966 Hillman Imp. No lie, this was my favorite car in FH4. Surprised and happy it’s back. 875cc I4 mounted in the back of a car weighing only 1647 lbs/747 kg means a fun little terror of a car. ★★★★★
IMG_5977.webp

2016 Honda S660 Alpha. Like I need to tell anyone how much fun this is going to be. ★★★★☆
IMG_5973.webp

1983 Nissan 240RS. A rally legend from the end of the RWD era. ★★★☆☆
IMG_5980.webp

2025 Porsche Macan GTS. Yawn. To be fair, I feel that way about all Porsche SUVs. ★☆☆☆☆
IMG_5981.webp

2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz. Yeah, I’m not calling it by the dumb made-up name some overpaid lawyers forced on us. Better than average all-electric people mover, though. ★★★☆☆

Getting a weird form of uncanny valley seeing the exact same IKEA shelving unit in game, and also next to my actual TV, lol

I think maybe the most interesting month of cars since release IMO, the only couple I don't really care for are the Macan and the Giulietta. The ID Buzz probably won't get much use out of me but it's the type of novelty car that deserves it's place in the game.

The cars from this update have quite a bit of interesting bodykit not shown in the blogpost
honda s660 lb.webp

The Honda S660 got a Liberty Walk Widebody kit and several other kits

macan gts prior design.webp

Porsche Macan GTS got a Prior Design bodykit

VW id buzz forza widebody.webp

VW ID Buzz got a Forza widebody treatment

For this week’s car facts:

2025 Ford Mustang GTD

This is a street-legal version of the Ford Mustang GT3. It was able to score a record time of 6:52.072 in the Nurburgring, before the Corvette ZR1X broke the record. It regained its record last April (Shoutout to RolexGTP).

2025 Citroën Ami

There are some lookalikes (definitely not badge engineered) that were made by other manufacturers. You have the Opel Rocks-Electric, and the Fiat Topolino (Shoutout to Famine).

The game is barely 6 months old. Way too early to know. I'm sure we will get a version of it eventually

The GTD retook the American car production record at the Ring from the ZR1X when it ran a 6:40 back in April.

Not... really, no.

The Ami was the first to market, by months, but it's just the Citroen version of the Stellantis group product. Opel's version is mostly identical, while the Topolino has slightly different bodywork.

All three are made on the same line in Morocco - which caused some havoc with the FIAT when it launched with Italian flag badging, against a law regarding disguising or misleading a product's country of manufacture.

I'm still surprised they aren't calling it the ID.Buzz, to be honest. I wonder if that's why the ID.4 isn't coming over to FH6, it feels like the exact kind of car that would make the jump.

Found the video of confirming the Honda S660 for Forza Horizon 6. This video from CarSauce's sister channel "TechSauce" was where Matt was testing Forza Horizon 5 on a cheap gaming PC, and he mentioned about the original Suzuki Every PZ Turbo Special FH6 leak with Justin (Cult & Classic) involved. Matt Brand (CarSauce / TechSauce owner) mentioned in this video that his Honda S660 (he owned it at the time of that video, now sold to someone else via Cult & Classic) will be possibly coming to Forza Horizon 6, which is now confirmed.

Matt: "Our friend Justin at Cult & Classic accidentally may have leaked the next location of Forza [Horizon] 6."

Jacob: "Which, to be fair, I think everyone knows already."

Jacob: "Yeah, 'cause they went and they scanned his kei cars."

Jacob: "That's so cool."

Matt: "So, anyway, very cool. By the way, I didn't tell you this. You're going to get a live reaction of this one."

Jacob: "Oh, no. Here we go."

Matt: "My Honda S660 is probably going to be scanned into the Forza Horizon 6 game."

Jacob: "No, that's so cool!"

Mentioned starting from 12:53 in this video. This video was uploaded September last year.

Do we know which version of the ID. Buzz we’re getting? It comes in two sizes: SWB (2,988 mm/117.6 in) and LWB (3,238 mm/127.5 in). The US market only gets the LWB version. The good news is that, thanks to being able to apply vinyls to windows, we can make our own version of the ID. Buzz Cargo if it’s not offered in game.

Ugh, that Forza widebody for the ID Buzz 🤦

Why do they do that awful rear wheel arch extension with zero appreciation for door shut lines and blending into the bodywork? The front is actually fairly well implemented to the design, and then you're left with a monstrosity to the rear.

@Populuxe the car appears to have amber side markers in the headlights, which is a US spec thing, plus, I don't think we got those wheels in Europe so it's likely the LWB.

This game has many problems. Needing too many points for the Festival Playlist rewards surely wasn't one of of them.

On only four occasions to date since The Trial returned - three of which were in S6 - players have been locked out of every higher-tier reward unless also subscribed to online multiplayer, creating a paywall for Xbox players.

For the most part (but not always), the cars available as higher-tier rewards have been duplicate rewards from previous Playlists, but it still was a problem.

torben tuesday is back

In terms of Festival Playlist improvements, this gives me hope for featured Eventlab/Challenges to return. Isn't also Playground Games gonna be added back eventually?

torben tuesday is back

The most interesting thing is, there's talk about more changes to the way the Playlist works. EventLab has had, like, no visibility at all because Seasonal EventLab isn't a thing, so maybe we'll see that coming back. But what else could they be cooking other than maybe Playground Games?

It's probably just saying 'hey Expansion 1 is going to be adding more points to the Playlist so you'll have more routes to get to the rewards anyway', but still, makes ya wonder.

I think it's more of a tacit admission that most players are bored of the playlist, and only do the events to get the cars. A major playlist overhaul is something the game sorely needs. In meantime, players can do less of it.

Honestly I wonder what that would look like. A return to FH4's system, which relied on Playlist completion percentage? Like, what exactly would you need to overhaul in FH5's system?

This game outside of playlist is nearly dead. Yesterday I queued for an eliminator run and 25 mn later I still wasnt in. I bailed out. Granted you need a lot of player compare to touge but still surprising.
