Well its both good and bad. Yes its good that we know that new content is gonna be coming after launch, but the bad news is (Most likely) gonna be the same old way of doing it.

That being you do a bunch of championships, The Trial and some other little bonus stuff, just to get 1 or maybe 2 cars that you actually care for.

'Am I saying its the worst type of FOMO ever?' Well no, I have dealt with FOMO stuff on a much larger scale in a different game I used to play which burned me out of, compare to Forza's FOMO, its at best the equivalent of doing a teamwork assignment, which isn't awful doing most times.

That doesn't mean I am gonna defend the FOMO, its not really fun to feel force to play the game to get something you actually care for because if you don't 'Oops its gone.'

I have seen some ideas from other people from both here and others places about toning down the FOMO. One of them being do what TCM does that being if you missed out on it will come back later in a few months. Another being added to backstage upon the end of that series event.

Overall: I think its fine that the festival playlist is coming back but I would like to see the FOMO stuff toned down a bit (Sorry about the little rant.)

I get it, but I had exactly one FOMO experience in FH5 with the Sierra Time Attack Mitsubishi Lancer Evo because I had to be out of town for over a week. I was able to get one on the Auction House eventually, and then later it was added to either the backstage pass or have it show up as a repeat seasonal reward, I forget which, and I think it was in my garage less than a year after it first debuted. FOMO doesn't really mean that much if a game is fun to play for at least two hours in a weekly sitting, and they cycle things back in eventually. I was upset for a bit that I didn't have that Lancer, but it didn't exactly feel like a fear-dependent scenario to have to go "well, crud, guess I'll have to drive one of these several hundred other cars I like until it shows up again." It's not Pokemon, it's a game where you do sick donuts in impossibly rare vintage race cars. You don't even have to pay real-world money because of it. (Trust me, as a former mobile gamer, it could be far worse.) Have fun!

You’re on the list. I’ll send DMs with a clear picture of the receipts when I have them. It probably won’t be until the middle of next month, though.
Here is a picture of your teeth in May... ;)

The keyhole shape on the rear boot is different as well! So definitely a brand new scan.

I wonder if they scanned the one sitting in the Ginza Place Nissan showroom in Tokyo (my pics of it)

Hope they got some nice clothes out of it being a fashion district and all. There’s also a mint 350Z in there.

Don't tell me it's a automatic...
Also is there a chance they rescanned the Fairlady Z Z33 as well?

After hearing that the Festival Playlist is back, may this be a reminder to vote for this suggestion on the Forza forums:

Maybe they got it from the Heritage Museum? The Nissan Crossing showroom changes features often, when I was there there was a brand new Fairlady Z instead. And replacing the Silvia, the Hyper Force Concept.

Does anyone know from this image if that 2023 Acura A-Spec is fitted with the manual transmission or not? I am not quite sure.

It would be quite weird if they actually added the CVT.

This isn't Gran Turismo so it's irrelevant which version it is, you can choose to shift manually or automatically in the options menu, and the game doesn't simulate CVTs.

Thats not what I mean though. I am just wondering if they scanned the CVT or manual. Pretty sure the latter is faster and better than the CVT. Also we do have CVTs but its only on buggies.

It would still be very weird if they actually added the CVT. Not to mention its a enthusiasts car and its related to the Civic Si.

My guess it's a manual, at least from this angle. Since the auto/cvt have silver coloured paddle shifters and you can't see it from the image.
Check this link to see the see how paddle shift steering wheel looked https://www.ebay.com/itm/197287090741

Yeah I hope so. If its manual then they scanned a A-Spec with the Technology Package and I feel like the current Civic Si and Integra Type S could arrive at some point too.

This is very interesting. It looks like the return of Forza BUGfest. I hope not and they fix these minor things on FL5. 😉

They did this so they give people the option to have it paintmatched. If they didnt it wouldnt allow people to have the wing or mirrors paint matched. A ton of cars have either black or carbon fiber or metal or plastic mirrors that cant be painted and the same goes for wings. Its so annoying and it would be such a simple fix for all those cars.

Tons of Nissans in Forza Motorsport/Forza Horizon are from Zama Heritage Museum.
Some others are from other museums (Petersen, Simeone Foundation, Museo Arese (for Alfa Romeo), Collezione Umberto Panini (for old Maseratis like 200 S and AGC63 Pininfarina Berlinetta)..)

It wouldn't be weird at all. They source what they can source, what you're asking for is still going to be nothing more than a visual, as Fred alluded to.

Since you seem focused on it, though, Acura claimed 70% of the 2023 Integra reservations asked for a manual, but the number ended up being around 22%. It was 20% in 2024 & back up to 22% last year, but there is no indication of which were A-Spec & which were Type-S, though it's probably safe to assume the majority were Type-S.

Therefore, wouldn't get any hopes up unless Playground specifically sought out a manual-equipped example to model.

I wonder if the devs themselves are actually enthusiasts as well?

Not seeing any paddles on that Integra either (though you never know it could be the CVT and they forgot to put the paddle shifters in that car model but its probably manual) plus I feel like they purposely avoid CVT spec cars which is why we got that VB WRX in manual when a CVT is also available So I am in Team TGR55 and I guess we will see the real answer very soon. And my guess is the Integra Type S and current Civic Si could come too.
Now that I think of its probably this blue one from the press release
