Thing is, I'm not really sure what some people expected from FH6. The map is bigger, it has a very Japanese vibe to it with a radio station in Japanese. Many historic landmarks with new race types like touge racing along with fan favourites like kei cars, time attack machines and new additions like the GR GT, Ferrari F80 and other lovely Japanese oddballs.
What more can PG realistically do?.

Thing is they could deliver great updates that bring fundamental improvements to a already awesome game. They did a lot of effort with this game and I think they will continue that path with updates as well. There is still potential.

There's a reason why I keep my expectations low. Because having very high expectations will leave someone with a bad taste and wished it was something much better, even if it there vision of it seems a bit absurd or outright insane.

Compare to having low expectations is a win-win (In my eyes at least). Since you know what to expect and be surprise with the new stuff they add.

I am not dissapointed with the game at all and have glazed it a lot and it paid off though there is still a few things I dont like and I do see a chance we will see more high effort fundamental changes post launch.

I get it. I was pretty hyped for FM2023, and we all know how that turned out. I know there'll be some things in FH6 that'll disappoint me somewhere (more control over which drivatar liveries I have to see? Please? At all? I'm begging here), and some things in previews I'm already a bit let down by (interior customization, aero options, different exhaust tips).

But I think what really matters for me is the gameplay flow, the freedom it'll allow for, and from what I've read in previews this really does seem like it'll be a more relaxing and open-ended experience in terms of being able to do what I want to do and progress at my own pace. It seems like simultaneous Free Play/Career Mode in a low-pressure kind of way, and I know that's got to be an improvement over the last couple attempts at career mode in Horizon games (to say nothing of FM2023, ugh).

All we know is that the Japanese players have said they are satisfied and happy with this game. So some of the complaints are probably nonsense if anything coming from people who will complain about anything sure there are valid complaints but a lot of complaints are just pure nonsense.

Good evening everyone.

If you're having trouble accessing the Forza website using the Edge browser, please do the following:

1. Open Edge and check for updates.

2. Then copy and paste the following into the browser tab: edge://settings/reset
3. Restore the settings
4. Close and reopen the browser

This worked for most users.

The Pre-Release Preview Build is several months old. Pretty sure that's fixed already.
The Pre-Release Preview Build is locked to specific settings. Its kinda like a Demo except that its now locked to influencers whereas in the past anyone could play a Demo. This version of the game does not have everything as with past Demos.

Here in Brazil, the biggest Forza YouTuber is Zoiogamer, and in his most recent video he walked around Tokyo for 10 minutes. Right at the beginning of the video, he passes right in front of the building under construction with the festival logo that appears in the Xbox Developer Direct, but it's open. There's no way to know what's inside, but the map will definitely evolve as the game progresses.

Are you sure he wasn't driving instead?

English speakers have the option of watching this on Youtube.com where they provide a computer dub of Fábio's commentary in English.

The rain at 2'17" looks pretty good to me.

My theory is PG's A team is making Fable and Forza has been relegated to the B team, a lot of senior talent left to make a new studio plus MS is telling them not to change too much because FH5 sold a lot and they don't want any risks.
There's 3 studios under Playground Games. They did not just suddenly move dev teams from Rossmore into St Albans & the third location. In fact, their own LinkedIn currently shows they are seeking a UI Engineer for Horizon whilst Fable has multiple roles including Designers, Animators, Artists & Engineers.

So, yay, your theories are still bollocks.

The Rossmore House is still the main studio. Also where is the third location?

So the Evo X gets a couple new swaps compared to FH5, while the 1.6 Turbo Rally and the 6.2 V8 are returnees(though the 6.2 has been upgraded so technically new too. :sly: ), they’re joined by 3 new engines for the Evo X.

The RB26 Inline 6, a very spicy 2.2T I4(roughly 950hp if my quick Google-fu on KW to Hp is correct :embarrassed:) and the 2.0 Turbo Rally Flat 4.

That last one will go perfectly with a WRX rally livery for extra cursed points. :mischievous:

And the Evo X is still bugged with having the wrong transmission for that specific trim.

Once again its another example of how some people will complain about anything even if its positive.
It's just being pessimistic for the sake of it. A simple Google search would've debunked said "theory" from just weeks ago....

Today, in 2026, much has changed. Since my last time as a guest, Playground Games now operates in three separate buildings around Leamington Spa, all within walking distance of each other. The team no longer shares its original building with anyone else, either. With Fable being developed across town, every part of Playground Games’ original Rossmore House facility is now devoted to Forza Horizon.

I think I've seen that space in other videos -- isn't that the entrance to a sort of enclosed shopping market you can drive through?

EDIT: it shows up in the first minute of this video.

With the confirmation of more than one festival location, I started thinking again that this building in Tokyo is a festival venue.

Originally I had thought this in January when I saw the Xbox Developer Direct. But then I thought we would only have one festival in the game.

One good idea I’ve seen suggested is that after their event expires they get added to the pool of Used/Aftermarket cars that can randomly show up in the world. It would give you that feeling of “oh wait, that’s a rare car!” when you drive by a For Sale sign and spot one.

I have been thinking this since it was announced. I really hope they just add a few cars from previous games each series to the used/aftermarket pool, and leave the series Playlist for mostly "New-To-Forza/Horizon" cars.
