If they’re a Premium Edition player they likely purchased it for the ability to play early and the discount on Expansions. VIP comes with that and you don’t have a choice in the matter.
Yes, I went for the premium too, but I don't need all the wheelspins. By now I have about 100 regular and almost 10 super wheelspins available. And it's very likely that I won't ever use them. So far I have only used one super wheelspin and a handful of regular ones, but that was in the starting phase.

Sorry about the crap video quality. YouTube calls this 1080p, lol.

Thank you for taking the time to make this! However, you are late, I already beat it with a Tacoma FE I tuned for speed. Got 315 Kph.

@PJTierney About that trailblazer you mentioned, I'm going to have to disagree with you and say the speed trap is definitely worse. The difficulty of the trailblazer is finding the META. Once you do, it isn't difficult, in my opinion, and the META is pretty much this:
  • Build something with a top speed north of 420 KPH and at least a bit of downforce. I used the same Tacoma FE.
  • Aim for the closet entrance to the freeway.
  • Enter the map and set destination to the park where the finish is located.
  • Floor it. The extra distance covered is more than compensated by the speed you're traveling at. I half-spinned, got stuck in a house, and still made it with about 6 seconds to spare.

Video of the R33 4Door customization.

the FD2 has a mugen widebody and other customization. The GR COROLLA only has OEM parts as customization.

Well, update time on my progress. I finished the Goliath yesterday with my Ultima. Honestly a pretty good choice if you need a class s2 or r track car and don't have a lot of money to spend. I had other cars that could've done Goliath, but I just wanted to pick the Ultima for this race as a car players could get on a non dlc playthrough.

I also did the "Titan" and "Gauntlet" races. I now just have the Colossus event left to win, which I'll do today. I didn't do it yesterday as I wanted to spend some time at a car show.

Today, I decided to do more discovering japan things so I can get the last of the barn finds. In which, I managed to get those unlocked and I found them using my Fiesta Rally Car. While goofing around and doing skills to earn some points.

Are you aware there's a lot of cars in the game you can only get from wheelspins (or the AH)? Or do you not want any of those cars?

Anyone having trouble completing daily challenges?

Winner Winner - Win 2 road Circuit Races
I have won 2 circuit road races, in fact, in actual circuits. I choose the horizon festival option. The daily challenge did not trigger.
I tried the custom race option. I chose two other circuit road races (not sprints), won both, and it still did not trigger the challenge.

Eat My Dust - Earn 6 Pass Skills in any Dirt Race
Entered a dirt race with the festival option (not custom race), and carefully counted the pass skills. I even made sure I banked the scoring. It did not trigger the challenge. Maybe I didn't count right. I started another one, and changed the difficulty to tourist. I earned plenty of pass skills, even making sure I had more than 6 vanilla pass skills (not the, great, awesome, or ultimate skills). But it did not trigger.

This was a really frustrating session. I feel like I wasted my time playing the game - I accomplished nothing.
I was able to complete other daily challenges without problem, including completing some that are still locked by chance.

My latest world champion record speed zone attempt at Airfield Grove, Ito:

I'm definitely scrubbing #3 off the list.:D

Man, watching the sim racers play Forza again with all the YouTubers has once again riled up the the purists. It's insane how the community is truly it's own worse enemy. I'm glad places like GTPlanet exist that promote openness and being positive about trying new games in or out of the genre.

We should be fostering a community open for more to join. Sim racing is niche as is, there is no reason to make it even worse.

On a side note but to those unaware you can test drive the Mazda Furai in free roam at the Horizon Festival.

And you can choose snow weather in custom races. I love it.
It really makes a difference too. I was useless in the Ruriko-ji Cross Country until I swapped my off-road tyres for snow ones.

I did try out the Furai earlier this week, it was great having that in an open world setting.

The same could be said about being able to free roam in a Mazda 787B.

So, I'll say it again. I love the race tracks included in this map, the flow is excellent on each of them, and I honestly find them fun with different performance car levels. Though Legend Island Circuit does feel a bit like a slog driving a slower car such as a kei car on it, I'll probably stick to faster cars while driving on that.
