  • Fixed an issue where the power-to-weight ratio (PWR) was being calculated incorrectly (Bug 4479613).
  • New stock exhaust audio for the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
Creative Hub

  • Fixed an issue where players could buy a car from a Car Meet and unlock the Livery (Bug 4418138).
  • Fixed an issue where thumbnails of cars with custom Liveries would not load (Bug 4397338).
  • Added the option to delete locally saved EventLab Events (Bug 4382411).
Gameplay

  • Fixed an issue where Chapter 6 of the Moto Auto Zine Stories: Shibuya Showstopper could not be completed without the Yellow Wristband (Bug 4331732).
Visual

  • Fixed an issue with the Aftermarket 1990 Subaru Legacy RS where the wheel rims were missing and would take a while to load (Bug 4378206).
  • Fixed an issue where painting the 1994 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta would cause strange dents (Bug 4436326).

Basically, Bugatti, Daihatsu and Suzuki are the most important brands yet to be featured in FH6 thus far.

And speaking of post-launch content, we gained around 71 known cars so far (from 534 cars to 605) - not including any Forza editions or promotional cars. The Car Pass is expected to be complete by December 10th.

Would be interesting to see how many cars we actually end up with in time for the game's first year anniversary next year, or in the shorter term, when the game releases on PS5.

However, fully eliminating all FOMO mechanics (making all Festival Playlist cars available in the Autoshow after a series) should be in Playground's priority list.

My List count, with the new additions of this season, 609 cars, not including the FH Edition or Promotional Cars, i dunno if I have made a mistake....
There's also Alpine and Vauxhall as missing brands.. (plus a bunch of others who have only one or two cars, thinking about Morgan because I just love their cars, and might be a returning one from next season?)

Edamame is more than playable, it looks like it even got its own event node, so Horizon Apex got one more permanent event this update. Its Festival Event restriction is Blue Wristband (so early-midgame) and Eclectic Domestics.

Not surprisingly, it’s very tight and twisty.
 
I was on the forza support site reading about the new festival reward car details,so I put the 4 cars from previous playlists and the Dodge Dart which was a wheelspin car,on the AH and made a nice few credits.I will have them back after completing the next few playlists anyway and they might not be worth anything to sell then.It would be just my luck they will change the reward cars now i`ve sold mine on. :lol:
I went back on the AH a few hours later and apart from the Dodge,the others have dropped in value quite bit,so many of them on there now.
Im hoping in a later update that maybe PGG will remove the wheelspin only cars and add them to the aftermarket cars,maybe rotate them each week or whatever but I dont know how that would affect the game economy.Not like the exotic dealership,as I said in my previous post I personally thought that was a wasted opportunity and could have been better.

I drove the circuit and it was nothing special, been there, done that.

The cars don't interest me this time around.

Still only one Skillpoint for the custom races....

I am going to take a break for a month when the British cars will be the subject.
 
Time to do something I also haven't done in a while, cursory reviews of all the new cars in the update! All of these assume that you're looking at a pure stock build.

1970 Honda N600: D 100 Eclectic Domestics. Not unexpected, but honestly, I struggle to see what makes this stand out against the ZGT. D-class Eclectic Domestics is kind of a BoP'd car class anyway, considering how most kei cars perform similarly, but against the Sera, the Autozam and the JPN Taxi, it and the ZGT would struggle owing to their age.

2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: S1 718 Modern Muscle. Its primary differentiator is its lower displacement engine, and according to the blogpost a more tightly tuned suspension. Presumably that gives it more room to upgrade, but unless we have a new bodykit, it definitely feels like they could have moved this to Track Toys so there could be another Camaro in there.

1988 Mitsubishi Starion: C 446 Retro Sports Cars. On paper this seems like a full 102 PI point nerf from FH5, where it sat at 549, though considering that the C class PI cap is now 500, it may as well have only lost 3 PI points, so not much has really changed.

1974 Toyota Celica GT: D 287 Classic Sports Cars. Again, another small nerf--the A40 was at 315 PI in FH5. But ultimately it's only a nerf of about 20, so it doesn't change much.

2018 Exomotive Exocet V8 XP-5: S2 841 Track Toys. S2 Track Toys has a new non-DLC king and it's the Exocet. It's light, it's got a great power-to-weight ratio, and it can more than compete with a roadgoing McLaren. 'Nuff said.

1987 Porsche 961: S2 840 Retro Racers. A potent addition to the category, especially since it gets slicks by default. Almost certainly, it's going to tear things up in there, especially since that... actually gives the JGTC cars and the Super Silhouette competition, even with its lower PI.

1957 Ford Thunderbird: D 332 Rods and Customs. Rods and Customs is a very underused category, in both Festival Playlists and the Festival Event mechanic in general, so I'm surprised it didn't end up in Classic Muscle. I'm guessing it's so it can appear in events alongside its fellow 1950s car icon, the Bel-Air, but if so, this basically relegates it to disappointing irrelevance, even if it's basically now top-tier in D-class Rods and Customs.

Like the SE048 SP, which is from the Museo Arese, the chassis of the Tipo 33/2 Daytona in the game it's from the same collection.
So seems Forza might have scanned all Museo Alfa Romeo Arese collection, just like, as i always repeat myself, the Zama Museum Nissan (and the Skyline Turbo RS is of course another one frome that museum!)
(So my wish for the 164 ProCar might become real..)

EDIT: chasssis it's the 750.33.012, and it might be one of the Team VDS's cars from 1968's 24h of Le Mans.

The Camaro might honestly be even more egregious than the Evo Spyder. That at least had the removable roof. As far as I can tell, this is literally the exact same as the 2017 ZL1 model. Can only hope it has some kind of visual mods to make its presence mean literally anything

Regardless, I am a bit surprised(/disappointed) that they didn't choose a different level of the "final" Camaro (at least, if/until the one currently floating around in the rumormill comes to market), as the ZL1 looks by far the closest to the previous version (given the face was left unchanged), despite practically every other version having a unique front end. Even the SS:

I imagine the ZL1 was chosen again because it served as the final version of the most recent Camaro. (Technically, the actual final model - at least, from what I gather - was the ZL1 1LE, but at least going with the non-1LE means it's a bit more different to the previous most recent Camaro in a Forza title.) Bit unfortunate from a uniqueness perspective, but it is what it is.

(Heck, even the "basic" 1LT models with the turbo 4-banger were lauded for years by members of the automotive media as being a rather impressive car for the money, sitting a bit closer to GR86 territory than the V8 models. The perceived "heresy" of a non-V8 Camaro aside, it could've made for something more unique, both to drive and to look at. But alas, I digress...)

Go to play challenges under creative hub to farm skill points. They still haven't patched that one in this update.

I also wonder if they chose the ZL1 for SS censorship reasons; as unique as the SS looks to be, it's still something Horizon has historically censored.

The cars haven't been nerfed per se (possibly apart from the Starion there which did seem 'over PI'ed' in FH5, was never that good of a car when built for anything in B or A class), the 998 PI points just cover a bigger range of speed + grip levels in FH6, mostly due to R class being shoehorned in which I fully believe is the biggest reason for the horrible balance even post drag tires fix.
